I just booked our flights for January...not sure I can stand to wait for the next 6 months!!! I think I might drive myself (and everyone in the house) crazy with the planning!
I have spent all day flip-flopping about where to stay. At first I thought CSR for all 8 nights. The boys however want to spend half the time over at US, but I'd ruled out staying onsite there because of the cost. Now I'm worried that we'll spend too much time driving back and forth, plus we wouldn't have express pass at Universal. Then I thought, perhaps rent points for 4 nights at Disney, which would bring that cost down enough to cover the extra cost of staying onsite at Universal for 4 nights (plus stay at the Boardwalk
). What's really annoying me is that I called the HRH to get a rate for January before I can make a decision, and they couldn't tell me what the rates would be. Is it just me, or is it somewhat strange that a hotel can't tell a prospective guest what the charge would be in six months? I wasn't asking for a discount or package deal, just rack rates.
This is only day 1, and already I'm going crazy trying to figure it all out!!!
