6/2-6/7 - BWV 2 Studios 3061 & 3063
View was great we overlooked the stairs from the lobby onto the gardens. Rooms 3061 has a huge patio! It would have been great if it weren't so hot. Another complaint is this room was a smoking room and it had such a foul odor - Nothing helped!

3063 also had an odor but the ionizer did help it.

We took 2 first timers (1A/1C) They went to the parks 4 days with us and believe me if they gave you their itinerary you would be shocked what they got in! Still so many things we wanted to do but 4 days is not anywhere near enough.

This was our 3rd trip over the last 13 months and our last trip for a couple of years - (we want to trade for Hawaii 2006)

Negatives about the trip! Many CM's in training who didn't have a clue - not enough supervision of them. My sister was given alot of misinformation, key to the world cards "ACCIDENTALLY" deactivated - it was enough to bring her to tears at one point! My DH and I were already at MK when most of this was going on - we ended up leaving MK and going back to the hotel to straighten out the mess! Which was handled by a trainee with a manager over his shoulder. I think when I explained what had happened the Manager was not at all happy to hear about the mis-hap!

It is long and drawn out but in a nutshell this is what happened!

My sister had room 3061 - Her son lost his key to the world card which was an Adult Ultimate Park Hopper - with no charging privelages! She went to the front desk - requested a new card - they got her ID she got a new pass and off to MK she went to meet me. Her son went to pass through the gate and was told the card was only a room key not a pass - she was sent to Guest Services they told her they would give her a "day pass" which they did she went back in line and they turned her son away again saying the pass was already used 1h 20 min before and he cannot come in without a hand stamp - Well he never went in once so she was sent back to Guest Services (back of line) they issued a new pass and they came into the park - later that day I went to charge lunch to my room and guess what "my card was refused" - somehow (I am guessing because she was on my points and there as an inexperienced CM behind the desk) cancelled my "key to the world card" (mind you I was in room 3063) with no park passes attached to my card as I am an AP holder - the hotel was called they stated there was not notation about stopping my charging privelage?

Well in the end it required me back at BWV to clean it all up! We left the park to get her straight so her son could go to DisneyQuest alone knowing he had everything he needed!

We loved the rooms we wish they didn't smell so bad!

Now moving on to Hawaii! I will keep you all posted on my trading/exchanging/planning etc... We plan to start in December for a search for 2006!

Thanks for the report. It's difficult to lose hours like you did straightening out the room key mess...especially on a short trip like that.

Sounds like your friends managed some major commando touring anyway! :p

Good luck on your Hawaii trade! :)

I think I would write a note to management because this seriously affected your vacation time. These types of things are inexcuseable especially if they offer only a too bad.

Sorry you had to deal with such a mishap. The rooms sound wonderful (other than the smell). Did you request to be in that area or were you pleasantly surprised?

Sounds similiar to something that happened on our last trip. Something like 6 completely new sets of room keys for 8 people over 5 days. It was a disaster. Sometimes the simplest requests can trigger unintended consequences.

:scratchin What is this "smell" you are talking about? And is this a constant thing with BWV? :crazy2:
