17 Days!!!

So, it had been a while since I looked at our pictures from last January, and I looked through them and it got me SO excited (if it was possible to get even more excited than I already was!) for this trip! BUT...it also got me wishing to plan another family trip all together. We had such fun!

I thought since I don't have any other details to post right now, I would take a walk down memory lane. It's shocking how much all of us have changed, just in a year! All of us are a bit thinner, I think for sure, but Rey's hair is shorter, Savannah & I have no pink...it's just funny how much changes in a year. Here are some fun random shots from our Jan. 2012 trip:

15 days?!?!? I'm having an incredibly hard time believing that 2 weeks from tomorrow we will be headed to our happy place!!!! No, like serious trouble believing it?!? I feel like I'm in total denial. I have our carry-ons pulled out, but they are just sitting there. I haven't made any lists, I haven't even thought about packing...I have no clue what my deal is, but it just doesn't seem real! I'm sure I'll snap back into reality soon!

Today is MLK Day and I have some pictures to share from our Day of Service on Saturday! Savannah & her friends volunteered to paint a mural on the wall of a local elementary school cafeteria. It was great fun and always great to volunteer! It was just them (and the coordinators of the project who penciled the design on the wall) and they painted it all themselves! I think they did a fabulous job! I thought it was kind of cute that the homeschooled-girls were painting for an elementary school.

OMG, I just did ONLINE CHECK-IN!!!!!!!!

Savannah & I talked about it (she's ALL about asking all kinds of questions and getting excited today!) and we decided that since we weren't arriving until around 8:30 at night, we would do online check-in (which we have never done) to make sure we got an upper floor. We requested 50s section and highest floor. Since I had to pay for preferred with the pin code I got, I am hoping we'll get our requests!

This is really happening!

10 DAYS!!!

The weather is shaping up, although the 10 day forecast just misses my our arrival day...I hope I don't have my count wrong??? We leave Tuesday the 5th, so I think I have it right.

Had a nice evening with a few ladies last night, they came over for a DISNEY night! One of them is planning a trip and wanted my (and Hope's) expertise! There was wine and solid Disney talk. My kind of fun!

Wouldn't be an update/countdown post without a pic! Savannah & I on our first trip in 2008, ready for MNSSHP! (did I already share this one? I can't keep track of anything!)

I followed along with your Family PTR from Jan 2012 and then I sort of went and disappeared from the DIS. (I have a tendency to do that when I'm not planning a trip...you know the DIS blues and all ). Anyway, I'm back and planing another trip and I stumbled upon your PTR!

I am so excited for you and Savannah!!! A Mother/Daughter trip sounds magical. I love looking at all your pictures and reading your posts. I can't wait to hear all about your adventures when you return!

I can't believe it's almost time for your trip! I know how you feel about being in denial......I am going through that myself. I think we plan for these trips for so long and when it's finally time to go,you don't know where to start. We have 3 weeks left and I haven't done anything at all. Oh well, I will get it together soon! I like that you are posting all of your older pictures, they are so sweet.
