We're Back Too!

Well ... since Saturday night.

Overall, we had a really nice trip.

DF forced my hand when it came to my patented commando-style touring -- no alarm and not arriving to the parks until 11:00 each day. (my son was so proud! )

Our favorites this trip:

• Animal Kingdom (new for Keith) and Epcot. Normally my least favorite parks - but I certainly gained a new appreciation for them.

• We loved the Food & Wine Festival.

• Keith's favorite: Soarin'

• Sharon's favorite: Expedition Everest

• Best line of the trip: Keith: "Is this a kiddie ride?" (while on the ride and after we made a return trip JUST FOR (and had to get FastPasses for) Peter Pan's Flight)

We did an impromptu trip to Discovery Cove (great day!)

Landed home and reality smacked us in the face: pool filter/plumbing/pump messed up, one escaped puppy (who thankfully was found by someone in the next neighborhood over), and one dead car battery. At least it occupied us (me) from the impending Disney blues.

Well played! That comment, by the way, is for Keith who managed to get you, Sharon, to do things differently. Relaxing, slowing down, and easing into the parks at nearly noon (things I think you've NEVER done before) seems to me to qualify this trip as a First Trip for you, too. I'll be interested to read the details.
