Includes Cole in his Dumbo suit! can't believe how many we took considering we had battery issues for the first 3 days!!

Morning all!

Well as the title states we are now home! Came back on the Sunday night Eurostar but stayed at the Premier Inn again and drove back yesterday.

My PC at home is broken so I'm having to just do a quick post from work. I will try to do a full TR at some point but will just do the highlights now!! :)

HIGHS

The Cheyenne ~ We got the same room we had in March and it had been paritally refurbed. New flat screen tv (old one was broken when we stayed before!) they'd replaced the borders round the walls, new taps in bathroom and we managed to run full hot baths this time!! :rotfl: Just generally spruced up and looking much more up to date. We also had a welcome back note compltete with Mickey and Minnie chocolate coins, a Winnie the Pooh soft toy that Cole nabbed and a free tea/coffee basket! :thumbsup2

MNSSHP ~ was brilliant!! We watched the show and saw lots of characters but to be honest Chris just wanted to ride everything whilst the queues were ridiculously short so I think we maybe missed out on some of the more halloweeny aspects. Still had a fantastic tho! Cole got so much attention in his Dumbo outfit, both from passers by asking where I got it and CMs thinking he was gorgeous!! Minnie singled him out whilst they were handing out candy at the Sword in the Stone, 'told' him she loved him and blew him a kiss!! the start of Coles infatuation with Minnie!! lol
We also saw Minnie in Frontierland who was very pleased to see Skye had the same dress as her!! we actually had a few comments from passers by about her outfit too!

An Impromptu visit to Cafe Mickey on Friday night after getting a soaking on Autopia which caused us to have to return to our room to change. Chris wanted to just go to the Chuck Wagon but I wasn't keen and so suggested a walk down to the Village to check out the queues at Cafe Mickey/Annettes knowing full well Cafe Mickey would probably be stacked so wasn't getting my hopes up! Walked down the Rio Grande and went straight to the front of the no reservations queue and we were seated 5 minutes later!! within 2 mins of us getting there the queue was huge so was obviously meant to be!! Saw Chip (who gave me a massage!!) Mickey, Minnie (Cole very pleased to get kisses again!) Tigger (though he missed our table!) Hook (had to bypass us as Cole was terrified!!) and we realised Stitch was coming out as we walked out! typical!! I never imagined that Cafe Mickey could be as good as everyone raved about but it really was!!!

Walts ~ we had the quick lunch ~ lush!! and kids got given glowing characters (I think from the cocktails! lol by our lovely server.

Steakhouse Sunday Brunch ~ worth every penny! went for doors open and had Pluto and Daisy pretty much to ourselves for ages!! Also saw Tigger and Eeyore. Kids loved it!!

Stitch Live ~ Like my fellow DISers last week I got picked to be Stitches girlfriend and Chris had to get up and do a silly dance! He was very embarrassed but it was brilliant!!! :lmao:

LOWS

The weather was really the only niggle. It was very very cold!! although I know others said it was warm on the thursday we got so cold first thing (it was bitter!!!) that we tried and failed to warm up for the rest of the day! Cole refused to wear his gloves and all others for sale were too big so his fingers swelled up like little sausages bless him!! As mentioned before we also got an absolute drenching on Autopia. The heavens opened just as we got in the cars! Cole was wet through to the skin after and wasn't too pleased about having to return to our room and take off his Mickey POC tshirt. Boy he loved that ride!!!

Continuelly missing our fellow DISers! So sorry!!! Not sure how we missed you at the Studios but I didn't see a single Stitch or Sulley that afternoon!! lol.

Having to come home!!! Chris wants to go again for my birthday now (April!) as he can't wait 13 months til our next planned trip! lol. We'll have to see but I definitely think he's got the bug worse than me now!!! :rotfl2:

Skyes come back with an ear infection that came on last night. Chris has had to take the day off work to stay with her and had to bribe her with 2 new disney dvds to get her to go out to the doctors!! Poor thing was pooped yesterday and really needed a good nights sleep but was up half the night in tears :( Maybe I will agree to April to cheer her up!! hehe

Ro x

I bought it on ebay from a lady in New York. It cost me the equivilant of 64p plus £9 postage!! bargain!! I had so many people asking about it at DLP too!! Cole loves it, when it first came and he tried it on he refused to take it off so I had to drive him to MILs with it on as she was having him for the afternoon!! had a few double takes at the traffic lights!! :rotfl: I only got it as he's a very small 2 and I couldn't get a Stitch/Sully outfit small enough!!
