We're back from WDW

Hi everyone, we're back from PC...this is the first chance I've had to get to the computer since Monday! That's what happens when you're away for 2 weeks
We had a great time, weather was slow to cooperate, but was very good the last few days...took lots of pictures and when I get caught up here at work and at home, I'm hoping to post some kind of report about our trip....
Some highlights...met fellow DISer from Florida and her DH for a mini-meet at the food court of PC...15 yr. old DD was swept away by one of the 'masqueraders' in Italy at Epcot...first time for youngest DD and DW on Splash Mtn....loved the new Philharmagic and Wishes at MK... and so much more.

Got to get back to work for now ,but if anyone has any questions, fire away!!!

To the Peterborough connection...I have about 10 rolls of film to develop...maybe a meet soon. (hockeymom, I'll fill you in on PC)

Welcome back. I think I remember you saying you were travelling via Buffalo. How was that? We may come home that way.(are going down on I75). Im thinking of leaving Orlando at around noon and driving just 6 or 7 hours that first day home. Do you have any idea where that will put us?
Splash is great, isn't it. I hope my DD wil go on it this time. She is a little timid of the big rides, but I know if she just tried it, she'd love it.

from Canada...we decided to travel I75 because the day we were leaving was the day that the big storm was coming in (Jan. 26) and we felt it was best to go the safest way. As it turned out, it was a good decision. We stayed just ahead of the storm for the most part. Sorry I can't answer your question about your trip back. Also, as for SM, it was my 11 yr. old DD's first time, and on the way up for the biggest drop, she was crying and sobbing that she didn't want to continue. I tried to calm her down best possible. When the ride was over, she was laughing and was upset at herself for being so scared. I think the anticipation was the worst. Anyway, she couldn't wait to go back on...we went 2 more times

chico & TimNDansMom...will fill you in shortly on my opinions of PC. There is a lot to say.

FatCow...we had absolutely no problem crossing the border, either way. We crossed at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor. The way over, we were asked to open the back side door of the van so he could see our kids and he asked them who we were. We also showed him our driver's licences. Took a total of maybe 3 minutes. On the way back she asked us a few questions and we were on our way...1 minute tops!

Hi hockey mom...I'm hoping to get all the film developed in the next couple of weeks...it would be great to have the next meet at your place...At PC, we stayed at the 50's, building 3, ground floor, non-smoking, facing the pool! (other than the specific building, we requested all these things and they were able to accomodate us)
