Just booked a Marriott free night award here for our December visit and was wondering whether any DISboards folks have stayed there since it became a Renaissance. If so, how was your experience?

Not yet, but I like to hear from DISboards folks. TripAdvisor is too full of fake reviews.

Staying there in a few days and can report back. I’m in town for a conference and rates I needed weren’t available at our usual favorites (Swan/Dolphin) - so trying something new. Reviews seem a bit mixed - but hard to tell what’s old vs from the re-brand.

It's pretty easy to figure out the fake ones overflowing with praise and the ones written by cranks with an ax to grind.

Reporting back - the hotel is pretty good! A bit dated - but the staff have been great, I received $25/day vouchers, the shuttle was on time to and from Epcot last night, and the location is an easy walk to Disney Springs. Food options are decent - though breakfast was pricey (so the voucher was appreciated). No major complaints!
