Me, Angela (My sisters think I'm like Owl)
Gina, Little Sis #1 (Rabbit)
Lynn, Little Sis #2 (Eeyore)

We were so tired after e-ride night that we slept like logs. And slept, and slept, and slept... Out of my deep sleep, I heard our room door open, and Gina was saying something. I raised up and asked what was going on, to find that it was 9:43a.m., and that was our mousekeeper trying to get in to clean the room.
I jumped out of bed and headed to the door with the intention of telling her we'd be out in a little while, but... Good grief! What is up with my legs?? It felt like I had shards of glass running up the entire length of my shins and calves. I could barely walk. Gina said for me to just ask for some towels, and I was still too asleep and in too much pain to think about the fact that the Candy room really needed mousekeeping. Of course, I managed to get myself locked out of the room barefoot and wearing my PJs, but I had towels and told the maid she could just skip us today.
Gina finally let me and my huge stack of towels back in, and that was when I found out that we were all in agony. My legs haven't felt like that, since I had attempted to open and close the MK at 6 months pregnant.
By the time we all showered it was close to 11a.m., so we decided to skip breakfast and head to Epcot for an early lunch. We hobbled over to grab FPs for TT, before heading to Le Cellier. We didn't have a PS, but were seated within 10 minutes. We had the cheese soup and we all shared the scallop appetizer. Yummm! Gina and Lynn got a steak and a chicken sandwich, and I had the steak salad. The food was absolutely delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired. We almost had to beg for more tea.
Afterwards, we just didn't feel like walking all the back to TT, so we headed for the little courtyard behind England for a break. There were tons of characters there, and there were no lines to see them.
We got some great pics, before heading over to MGM.
First thing we did was grab a FP for ToT. The stand-by time said 13 minutes, but I thought that was a joke. It was and it wasn't... This was a walk on! I couldn't believe it. I don't think I've ever been to ToT with no wait at all. We rode it a couple of times, then rode RnR twice with a 10 minute wait. Back to ToT!
We decided to walk through the FP line this time just for the heck of it, since we did have FPs and all. The CM wouldn't even take the FPs. She told us just to keep them. She showed us something really cool that I don't remember having seen before. On the message board between the two waiting rooms, you can see where some of the letters have fallen off. If you look down into the bottom of this you'll see that the letters have fallen so that "Tower of Terror u r doomed" is spelled out. I thought it was neat, anyway.
We rode this a couple more times, and on our last go we met "Joe". Joe was this tiny little boy who must have just barely made the height requirement. He had never ridden before, and was with his father and older sister. We struck up a conversation with his father, who was trying to tell Joe what to expect.
Every time we had ridden this we were put into the very front in row 1, and this was no exception. Gina and Lynn kept turning around to see how Joe was handling this, but I was seated right in front of him. When it was over, Joe said he loved it but HE WAS NEVER GOING TO RIDE IT AGAIN!
Time to see the picture! OMG! There was me looking about 3 feet wide, but no Joe. I had completely wiped out all traces of what was probably to be Joe's one and only encounter with ToT. I was so embarrassed that I high-tailed it into the gift shop, leaving Gina and Lynn to admire the photo. Apparently Joe's father came up and said, "Where's Joe?? We can't see Joe." Poor Joe... Those two ragged me about that for the rest of the day!
Next we hopped a bus over to PO-FQ to show Gina and Lynn the place. I love this resort! It's just so cozy. First stop was at the pool bar where Gina and I each got a Pina Colada. Now maybe it was because I tipped the bartender prior to making our drinks or perhaps she was just in a generous mood, but she made these extremely strong. Hoowah! Gina was walking around talking to the wildlife about half way through hers. "Here lizard, lizard, lizard..." :)
I got them to show us a room, and then we were off to catch a bus to the AK. It was about 20 till 5 o''clock when we boarded the bus. The bus driver asked us where we were going and seemed really ticked that we said AK. "You know that closes at 5?!" Yep, we knew, but we wanted to pick up some T-shirts from the RC. He drove like a BOH the whole way there. When I went to pay for our shirts, there was a manager type standing talking with the cashier. She saw my Seasonal Pass, and they took it and gave me 15% off. I told her I new about the discount at DD, but didn't realize it was for the RC in Ak, as well. Yep, it was she said. Good deal!
We then went back to Epcot to do some shopping, before returning to the WL. We had intended to eat dinner at the WCC, do some laundry, and swim a little. We went to wash up in the restroom outside the WCC and overheard some pretty bad reviews of the food there. Hmmmm. We walked up by the Lego table and saw a man just behind the bookcase who had apparently just finished up and was paying his bill. Lynn poked her head around to ask him how was his meal. He said it was OK. Hmmm. We walked up to the podium when two people came out of the restaurant with their menus saying that they "decided not to eat here". Well, you don't have to beat us over the head (too many times)! We made a beeline outta there.
I knew Gina had always wanted to try Ohana's, so we headed up to the room to try for a PS. It was after 9p.m., though, and Disney Dining was closed for the night. Well, what they had really wanted all along was a pizza. Gina had loved the ASMo pizza, and hoped this would be the same. She hadn't let me order her one previously, because she read that it was Room Service Pizza with a bunch of extra fees tacked on. She had asked down at RF and even called the front desk to try and go pick one up.
I convinced them finally to stop worrying about this, but pointed out that this pizza was going to be delivered to The Candy Room. We all had a good laugh, so I assumed they understood what I meant. Remember all those towels we had gotten that morning? Well, my *one* towel was hanging on the hook in the bathroom. All the rest were strewn around the room floor. How in the world those two went through so many towels I will never understand. There were curling irons, curlers, makeup, clothing, bras, you name it on the beds, the table, everywhere. That room was a wreck!
I went out on the balcony to have a cigarette. Within a few minutes Lynn was poking her head out. The room service guy was knocking, and I had told her I wanted to tip him. I got the tip for her, and my intention was to go back out to the balcony just to put out the cigarette I had left there. Gina was resting on her bed when I heard her say, "Don't open the door real big" in that Southern drawl we all share. OMG! OMG!OMG! It was at that very second that I realized these two had no idea that room service meant service within the room. There was no time to explain now, so I just continued right back out to the balcony to finish up my break. I decided to just let them handle it.
Lynn tried to open up the door just a little, Dominoes fashion, but the room service guy kept on coming. Lynn hollered out, "He's comin' in ya'll!" I could only here bits and pieces of this, but I was about to roll. Apparently, the poor guy had looked around for an empty spot to lay out the tablecloth, but could find none. He ended up laying it a Gina's feet on the end of her bed with her protesting that "We don't need all that" the whole time. I could hear them laughing and talking with him till the door closed. Then, the balcony door came flying open. "Angie! He came IN the room!!!"
Well, no shi...I mean, really?! ROTFLMAO! We laughed so hard we could barely eat the pizza. It was great pizza, though, and Gina only wet herself a little. :o
We attempted to take a load of clothes down to the laundry on our way to the pool, but all six or so washers were in use. It would just have to wait till we got home. We really enjoyed the quiet pool and hot tub, before heading back up to bed. I was still laughing about "poor Joe" and room service well after the lights were out.
We left the next morning all in agreement that this had been a perfect weekend and we all love the WL. And we can't wait to do it again!!

The end!

:D

sounds like a fun trip. I would love to do it with my sister. Thanks for sharing.

What a fun trip! I wish I had sisters! Let me tell ya, I quit smoking about 6 weeks ago...well, every cigarette break you took, I took right along with ya. My mouth was watering during your break on the balcony! Whew! I had to get another piece of gum.LOL

Hi to all! Yes, the weekend was absolutely priceless! Thinking about it leaves me somewhere between laughter at the memories and tears that it was over so quickly.

Jennymouse, You keep up the good work! I've quit at least two dozen times, but have always started back. I started smoking when I was seventeen, quit each time while I was pregnant and nursing, and I have my patches in the kitchen cabinet right now. ;) Do you prefer the gum over the patches?

I used the patches for three weeks and I've been on my own ever since. I was talking about regular chewing gum!LOL I like those little fireball hot jawbreakers too, but was chomping on them so much I broke a tooth and a filling came out.

jennymouse, Thanks for the reply! Regular chewing gum, huh?! I'll have to try that once I get up the gumption to go for the patches, again. ;) My very best to you!!! Angela

I quit smoking when I added up how much $$ I spent on cigarettes in a year and decided it was enough to fund an additional Disney trip!

I want a cigarette = I am going to WDW three times this year..... woohoo!!!!!

I NEED a smoke = Is that Mickey I hear calling my name?

It is really simple, replace one ADDICTION FOR ANOTHER!!!! LOL!

ONE PACK A DAY @ $3.00 PER PACK = $1095.OO

Since DH also quit smoking that means, literally, an extra vacation!

Addicted to the Mouse!

Thanks for the great posts!

We just upgraded from POFQ to WL when the rates came out! :) Hope we love it as much as you did!
I wish I liked my sisters enough to spend a weekend liket hat with them! :)

Toni, Thanks for the tips!! :D

pattyT, Oh! You've upgraded from one of my favorite resorts to one of my favorite resorts. ;) I love FQ, and I now love WL! I hope you have a great trip!!

...sounds like you had a GREAT time with your sisters!! The Candy Room sounds more like a sorority house than a resort room!! -lol-

Hi kimmar! I think the relaxed atmosphere of the WL really added to our weekend. About the room, you said it! I'm somewhat of a neat freak, and I really like for everything to be in its place. I traded in a little sanity for a whole lot of fun, though! ;)

what dates in October will you be there? Taking the imidiate family this time? :)

dandave, I really enjoyed reading your trip reports. I would love do this with my sister! Did you feel guilty that your boys weren't with you? I am afraid I would feel too guilty that my DS was at home while I was having fun.

pattyT, Hi! Dh and my two boys are going with me this October. They never had a Fall Break while in the Georgia school system, so we are really looking forward to this! They will be 6 and 8 in Oct, and we are really excited about the Halloween Party!

MNT568, Hi! I'm so glad you enjoyed my posts.I felt really guilty on the morning I left. My DH ( the best Father) made sure that they had a fantastic weekend, however. He was thrilled for me that I was able to pull this together on such short notice. I've had the worst summer (moving, selling the house I loved, and settling into our new home), so I really needed this break. Sometimes we just need to treat ourselves, in order to be happier for the ones we love!

You girls arfe just TOO wild LOL

Thanks for your great reports!

sounds like a ball! glad you enjoyed your girls only trip - sounds like you have some wonderful and silly memories!

thanks for posting
