Went to see QM2 today

We went to see the Queen Mary 2 depart NY today followed by Queen Elizabeth2 . It was an awsome site. It was so cold and windy and we weren't the only ones out there freezing. I wish I could take better pictures though. The 1st one was set in Auto. and the 2nd for night. Any suggestions on night pictures.

I bet it was a sight to see for sure.

As for night pictures, you need to not use flash (you did not), maybe a 400 ISO setting, and time exposure, maybe 1/15 or 1/8, maybe even 1/4. And with an exposure that long, you need to have the camera on a surface or tripod for no movement.

Thanks Dan. I'm going to have to work on that. As for the non movement, I think I was shivering so hard that I'm surprised I got any picture.
