Went to POFQ and was so bummed!!!

We loved the place and we are so bummed out that is is closing for so long!!! I didn't think I would like the theme etc. We decided to book because my son wanted to swim in the dragon pool. What a cute hotel! I liked the smallness, not busy and hectic like the Contemporary. OH well, I guess something to look forward to in the future.

Port Orleans has always been a favorite of my family's too! My two oldest DD always loved the slide! And the size of the hotel is perfect with children! My youngest DD and I are going to Disney in October and I thought of staying there since Allison hasn't stayed there before (now we're a family of five!), but then I read it would be closed for a while.

She loves All Star Movies so that's where we'll be staying!!

We are going to miss POFQ too. It's so small.

My family stayed there when we did the land/sea vacation in 1999.

We are doing the land/sea again but going to the Polynesian this time around in August 2004. We decided to add on two more nights to our vacation and will be staying at POFQ again, transfering to the Polynesian after (try something new).

We loved it there.
