Went to Disneyland yesterday....

Overall a good time..my 3 1/2 yo dd had a blast...but I do have a couple of observations. LOTS of stuff was closed..mostly under construction. Also..I guess due to the low volume of people lots of concession and restaurants were closed as well. For example..in Tune Town..by 5:30 ALL food was closed...and that is BEFORE dinnertime. Not to mention the park closed at 8pm...too early. So I feel like I paid full price ($83 with stroller rental) for the two of us and only got some of the benefits.

The weather was great...and my favoritist part of the entire visit was absolutely...positively the <font size=5><font color=darkpink> PARADE! </font></font>

It was just an overall Disney character themed parade but it was great! The last one we saw was the Mulan themes parade which was also awesome!

So I guess there were goods and bads...but my dd had a good time so that is all that really counts.

Felt a little shorted, huh? So did we. We spent about $200 to get in and park and we feel like we got about half of what we got last time we went. Just wasn't worth it.

you should be glad you weren't there a few years ago. Just recently have the parks stayed open past 6:00 at anytime other than christmas and summer. It' used to close at 5 or 6 and only a little later on weekends now it's 8 M-Th, 12 Fri and Sat, and 10 Sunday. besides the crowds are so light that there's no line so you can do it in less time.

Toontown usually closes before the rest of the park, and the restuarants almost always close up early over there. They're more for the lunch crowd.

we had 4 day park hoppers and went on a mon-thurs. all the hours were short, but lines were so short (non-existent) that we saw every thing several times! and we got to be in the parade!!!it was awesome!!!!!
