Went shopping....had to share my happiness!

Last night I went shopping for some dresses for my October cruises...specifically a formal.
The formal I wore on last years cruise was a size 18, altered down a bit.

Well, not only did I find the BEST sale at JCPenney...(got a semi formal dress and a formal for a total of $45!) The formal is floor length and fitted with thin straps...teal colored with silver sparkles. Regular $129! COOL!
And the big news.....I also fit into a size 6!!!!! The semi formal dress is a size 8 (I needed the bust room) and the formal is a 6! I am just so happy!!!

I just wanted to share my happiness with my WISH friends! Thanks for being here for me...with only 7lbs left to goal, it means so much to have a place I can come and share my progress and successes!

Wow, that is so exciting! I wish I could have been with you to see that! Have you been buying lots of summer stuff on sale for the cruise? I wish I had some idea of what size to get but 5 months off could be a few sizes for me. Last time I was looking at formals was for DD's prom in the spring and we were looking at sz 0! Size 6, I can only imagine! Actually, I have sz 6 formal that I haven't worn in 10 years - maybe by January when we cruise again I'll be able to get in it.

You must be getting so excited about your two cruises in October! Wish we could come with you!

I will definitely take tons of pictures to post! When I got the size 18 altered, it did require a lot of taking in...except in the bust. (yeah, they were big) So, I would think I could have gotten into a 16 or so...but formal wear is so strange!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the encouragment! To think I could get into a size 6 all on my own! YAHOO!!!
This motivates me to really push to hit goal before my trip! 7lbs to go with 6 weeks left! I can do it!

A 6??? In my dreams!!! That's fantastic. 7 pounds seems like nothing when you've got a size 6 in your closet! Those pounds will be long gone by time the cruise comes!
