went down to battery park city today

to help someone move into an apartment there. if you don't know, BPC is right next to the wtc site. from her window, you can see the excavated area. it was chilling.

but it was also a wonderful trip. i'd been down to BPC in december. it was totally totally dead then. all the stores were closed; no one was on the streets. it's so inspiring to see everything being rebuilt.
