Hey (me again)
You did some wonderful invitations for our Grand Gatherings group (post #2045 was the request). I went to print them out today and they are tiny. Did I do something wrong when I saved them from Photobucket? I can't manipulate them at all to be bigger because they get blurry. I have a feeling that I saved them at a smaller resolution. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

Here is the link to your designs : http://smg.photobucket.com/home/pgawidow/set/312

You need to click on EACH one, then click on it again, it will then be at the largest size - THEN you need to save it to your computer at the LARGEST size. You will then be able to manipulate the size when you go to print.

I was wondering if I could get the Mickey tag and Minnie tag blank so I can use for an upcoming party.
Could you also make the Minnie in a pink dress...we're having a pink and zebra print Minnie birthday party!

As for your design request - to be honest, I haven't thought about a design for it yet. What did you have in mind? Any ideas? If you could let me know what you are looking for or think you want it to look like, let me know!

Anyway - it'll probably be a couple of days - I have a LOT going on this week with my DS and his things for school/easter/party/etc........ so, again, I ask that you be patient.

That is fine you dont have to do it. sorry i steped on your toes. I am new at this so i guess i will let someone else do it. I posted it in a new thread because i know that you have alot to do and I wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas. I had no idea that you would get that upset over something as simple as a post. I dont know how to delete my post so i guess they will stay on here. you dont have to worry about me asking you for anything else i dont have for this. Sorry!

I've responded to you on your other thread. AND Again - there is a HUGE difference in being UPSET and letting someone who clearly doesn't know the rules - what they are. You have jumped the gun on getting your feelings hurt - I'm NOT upset in the least.

AND - if you DO want any of my designs - all you have to do is ask - and be patient - UNLESS you need them ASAP - in which case, you should state that in your request.

First of all, I cannot thank you enough for ALL you have done in helping my family have wonderful things to make our Disney Vacation EXTRA SPECIAL.... Wendypooh style!! I have shirts, invitations, tags, letters and ...ummmmmmmm.... I know there's more!!

This will be my kids first trip to WDW and I am personally super excited to go having spent the time looking through your designs and making multiple requests that you have completed for me!! And now I know that my kids will be thrilled and have an extra special vacation with all these unexpected extras you have supplied us with!!!

To other posters: I started making requests MONTHS before my vacation because as I read through the threads here and I realized how much all these wonderful DISigners do for US!! So I knew that I would have to make my main requests first, and then hope to get other requests made later if time allowed on the DISigners part!! They generally only receive a Thank You, and yes, believe it or not sometimes that never comes either!! Once in a while they get a little donation, which I have done because my DW and I realize how much time must go into all of this on their part, and because of the money we'll save making our own shirts in advance with the DISigners designs!! AND PERSONALIZED!!!

DON'T take the DISigners reminder of the rules personally!! They just each have a LOT of requests that they try and fulfill, so for them to duplicate work for you that someone else may already be doing isn't fair to others who may have requests!! Also, they generally all will let you know if for some reason or another they can't fulfill your request so you can ask elsewhere!! If your in a time restraint just let them know, they will try and expedite your request over others who are traveling later then you, and if they can't accommodate you they will surely let you know!!

And just to clarify, I do not know wendypooh, or any of the other DISigners personally, my family and I are just very fortunate recipients of a LOT of GREAT work by them, and I can't thank them ALL enough!!!

PS. I'm going on the DCL in November 2011 and I'll start making my request for those DISigns as soon as I return from WDW this May!!!

(Sorry if I rambled, but I really do feel fortunate for what my family has received here on the DIS from these DISigners!!)

First - You and your family are so WELCOME!!! I LOVE designing and find it very cathartic - it's an outlet for me - I also LOVE spreading just a little bit of pixie dust to everyone! If one of my designs can bring a smile or make someones trip just a little more special - then it's all worth it.

ALL I or any of the other designers ask is for a little respect, patience and a Thank You - that's it. And you are right, You'd be surprised at how many times we don't even get that!!!!
So, I'm going to take this opportunity, since you brought it up - - to address some things - there are some who seem to have this sense of entitlement that boggles the mind - and it really makes it NOT fun for us designers. We all have real lives, families, everything that everyone else has - we all do this for FREE, and we all respect each other. We hope that everyone reads the stickys at the top of the board and follows the rules. When we point out something that is a "no no" - or not how things work here - NO ONE should get upset or think we are MAD or Fussing at them..... we are just pointing out the rules - it is COMPLETELY Rude and unfair the way we are sometimes treated. We don't want people asking multiple designers for the EXACT same design - it isn't fair for all of us to waste time making the same thing - as obviously in most situations only one will be used and so the other designs go to waste. I would think that is obvious - but you have NO IDEA how many times it happens - so much so, there is a sticky regarding it. Also, We are NOT allowed to sell or profit from ANY Disney design - as per Disney's copyright laws - however, we are allowed to accept donations for our time - those who choose to do that have no idea how much it helps out. A lot of us pay out of our own pockets to host these designs - so, it is very much appreciated - BUT, I don't want anyone to think it's required - it isn't and we all very happily do this for FREE.

I'm sorry for the vent - but I do appreciate the opportunity to say all of this. I love designing - I hope everyone knows how happy I and all the other designers are to do this for them. I try to be kind and accomodating to everyone - but I do have a real life and a family and sometimes I just need a break - I hope everyone understands.

SO - to everyone!!! And David........... if you guys need anything else - don't hesitate to ask - I"m happy to do it! And Thank You again for your post - I appreciate the kind words and support!! You have no idea how much it means!!!
