Love the Celebration pics. We spent an afternoon there in Fall 06 & we had a great time & it is BEAUTIFUL. I would love to live there some day.

Oh, and Celebration is my dream retirement place or when I come into a lot of money someday...that's where I am going! For right now, I enjoy it everyday without paying the prices to live there! It works, I guess!

Wow, you are not kidding when you say Celebration is beautiful! It looks sooooo nice! I wish I lived there...Man, 80 degrees. Could you please send some of that warm weather to Wisconsin? My weatherbug says it's 19 degrees right now. Though it's supposedly going to be in the 50s next week (haha, only a Wisconsinite would get excited about weather in the 50s...)

Congrats on getting a job with Disney! I would love to work at Disney World...I'd like to try applying for the College Program next spring after I'm done student teaching.

Hi All!

My family and I went to Animal Kingdom Lodge tonight and had dinner at Jiko's! The food was fantastic! Yummy! You can check my Food pics on the Food Thread!

Oh, here's my brother enjoying a Zebratini! He was so excited about getting this drink!

Oh, and I am also helping a fellow DIS'er out, jbmom! Her DS sent me his Flat Stanley and Stanley will be spending some time with me and exploring Florida! He arrived today, so he'll be going around with me! Do you know who Flat Stanley is? I'm sure if you have children you do or if you are as young as I am. It's such a cute project to do! I may have to post the pictures of Flat Stanley on his adventures when I am done.

I am so sorry for not updating the Pirate & Princess Party Trippie or responding to everyone's posts. I still have to get to my PM's too! I will get back to the Trippie soon! I don't want it to end, so I have to drag it out! I've got A LOT more Captain Jack to talk about and show off!

I called my recruiter today at the Casting Center and he was so thrilled I got the job! He said right after my interview that he immediately received a phone call from my interviewers and a fax with a big "Make Offer" in bold print with a large circle around it! That made me so happy! I was grinning ear to ear! He said the interview must have gone really well because they really want you for the job!

I have another hiring process I have to go through tomorrow for about a hour and a half. I'm pretty sure it's involving me signing my life over to Disney! I already have, but now I get paid for it! What a deal! I will be working within two weeks from today, I have to be trained for a week, and I still have to attend the Disney University! Exciting!

I will get much more information tomorrow and details!

We just got our possession date for our new house (March 30) and we're super excited about it! I don't think we'll be able to match your level of Disney-ness in your house (which is VERY beautiful!!!). We tried to order a mirror similar to yours but DHL smashed it up during transport and now we can't order it off DisneyShopping . At least the CM was kind enough to refund our $35 shipping. We did get some really nice drawer pulls though! I can't wait to stock up on Disney gear when we're down.

Ok, enough about me....have fun with all of your training and keep the updates coming! You now officially have a cult following

OK I've read your entire trip report from beginning to end and I've never replied. But the suspense about the job is killing me. I just got an e-mail from disney about a job fair because my husband and I were considering a relocation to the Orlando area. I'm dying to know what you will be doing.

Two Ugly Camels & One Hot Pirate


After the parade, us Wenches made it back over to our territory in Adventureland! This Pirate & Princess night would not be complete without more adventures and encounters with our love, Mr. Jack Sparrow!

On our way, I ran into the two ugliest women I have ever seen! These have got to be the craziest costumes and characters ever!

I found out that there was just one more Pirate Tutorial before the end of the night and I couldn't think of a better way to end the evening! We be Wenches after-all and our always on the look-out for some pirates!

We had some time to kill, so we got to enjoy the Pirate Band that was playing outside of Pirates of the Caribbean.

It was about time for that sexy pirate to arrive and I saw him bolt around the corner! This Captain Jack was pretty cute, I must say! He had the perfect voice for it too! I was pretty impressed!

The Pirate Tutorial is just fantastic and I wouldn't mind seeing it every day! Well, Captain Jack anyway...

This Captain Jack didn't interact as much with the audience as the hottest Captain Jack at WDW! He just did his part and that was pretty much it. He was great, but I think the other Jack has some great comic-timing!

Well, it was once again for Captain Jack to choose his crew to give the pirate oath! I decided I'd raise my hand and give it a try again, why not! Sure enough, Captain Jack chose me again! I couldn't believe it! He was turning around in a circle, looked at me, and said, "You must join my crew! Up front by me!" Oh yes, I was so there!

It was such a blast! I only wish I could really set sail with the Captain!

Yay! I finally got to update the Trippie!

I just wanted to let you all know that I won't be back on The DIS until late Sunday night or Monday. I am spending the weekend with the rest of my Florida family! I can't wait to see them all!

I was at the Casting Center for close to two-hours today signing paper after paper. Disney now has all my information in their computer system and all my finger prints! They got me! The guy almost put my social security number in the system wrong! That would have been a huge mess! I am glad I caught it!

My first day of work will be this Tuesday! So exciting! I have to go to Disney University for the entire day to learn the ways of Disney! It should be so much fun! For me, it's like an amazing Disney Tour that I get paid to go on! It's all really happening...

My family is having a blast! We spent a day at Islands of Adventure & Universal Studios and were at Downtown Disney today. The weather has been beautiful!

My brother is starting to plan our summer Disney vacation now! I think we are spending a week at the Beach Club!

I just have to post my thoughts on your job. YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!!!!! I think that we have a member of the dream team in our DIS family. Congrats and have a great time at Disney University!

Well, it's not guaranteed that you would see me or get to meet me, but that's pretty much the only way any guests would be near the area where I work. That's just if I happen to be walking around, but you could still see where I work, even if you don't see me, or the office I work in. Oh, and I don't work in a park. The mystery continues... I hope I'm not driving you all crazy, but this is a fun game!
