well

I'm in North carolina, we barely get snow.
they close school for "possibility of winter weather"

Anyways, that was all last year. I was the stage manager for every one except LSOH.

Ha. I remember family in NC calling one day saying that my cousin didn't have school for one inch of snow. They said they were cracking up because both my aunt and uncle were born and raised up here. Here in Buffalo, a "possibility of winter weater" means only one scarf when you wait for the bus! :thumbsup2 Up here, we thrive on "possibilities"!

Yeah, but I guess you're used to what you're used to, you know? When you've been on the same basic school year schedule you're entire life it just seems normal.

If you don't mind me asking, are you from the south somewhere? I have a cousin down there who started very very early. I've found that it's typically a southern thing as opposed to up north.

Ohh, very nice. I love Fences but I've never seen it acted out!

Fences was hilarious, we did it in two nights.
And the second night one of my friends decided to add alot of lines to the part where Gabriel asks for Watermelon.
he decided to say "HEY ROSE!, thats a big A** Watermelon"
you could also hear our walkie talkies going back and forth during the show.

I would have to leave the frickin' room! I love nights like that. All of our school performances (I'm not involved in them but know plenty of people who are) are done for four nights. Sunday night is always the "goof off" night. I hear from stage crew friends about things people will be doing so I will be sitting in the audience knowing that when person x takes the paper from person y 'such and such' will be written on it, etc. Everyone know that the night to go is Sunday :thumbsup2.

hahahahahah that's always good. lol and yea the winter weather possibility is the same here...just means u bundle up and hope ur school has working heat hahahah

our school has working heat! BUT!

only in the warmest months.
lol

i'm going to go to bed now.

laterss!

Yup. We always joke with the NC family that our "go-outside-in-gym" cutoff is 30 degrees and your "go-to-the-school-in-the-first-place" cutoff is 30 degrees!

I move in on the 5th and then pre-season starts the 6th and goes to through sunday. then the semester really starts that monday the 10th. the first half week is to get everyone used to school again and get the new kids aclimated into a boarding school invironment. And I graduate on May 30th!! I go to school in CT and we don't get snow days because it is a boarding school and we live on campus so there is really no point. And I live in TX they used to go to school really early but they are trying to take after the north and they start on monday this year.

I start on September 5th
but i get out way late in June :thumbsup2

We started on Monday (Aug. 20).

Summer's over for me.

i've got open house tonight.
what fun.
i get to see my schedule!

me confused- could someone explain to me what openhouse is? by the way you guys break up way before us
