Ditto. I had oodles of things to do for my AP classes. I was almost done and then *BAM:*) my harddrive crashed and everything was gone! Everything. So I'm back at square one.

But to answer the original question, I start on the 5th.

haha, I had to read Macbeth and Pygmalion and make a detailed outline, synopsis, and POV report. [5 pages each]
I finished yesterday.

We always start the day after Labor Day here. What day do you guys get out, though?

And yeah, I was pissed. I don't think I've ever swore as much in the course of a day as I did that day...and what's more, the books I had to do them on have long since been returned and at this rate, all the procrastinators (sp...it's late, what can I say?) have taken them out so now it's a mad scramble to find these books!

Yea i'm taking theater 2 this year..
Last year we did Auntie Mame, Diary of Anne Frank (how original is that lol), and.............*cringes* Cinderella...not sure what the musical director was thinking there lol

Ahhh. Because of state testing being so late, we got out I want to say the 28th? It was very late in June. Not to mention, we had a monstrous storm in October that cut out basically all of our vacation days. Had they decided to take it out of the summer, we'd have finished in the late first week of July.

Yeah, but I guess you're used to what you're used to, you know? When you've been on the same basic school year schedule you're entire life it just seems normal.

If you don't mind me asking, are you from the south somewhere? I have a cousin down there who started very very early. I've found that it's typically a southern thing as opposed to up north.

they close school for "possibility of winter weather"

Anyways, that was all last year. I was the stage manager for every one except LSOH.
