Well today I went to the travel agency to pick up some brochures to see if my daughter liked the look of Cheyenne, after I decided it was easier to stay on site. well my daughter decided she wants to stay at the pink hotel and be a princess, she remembered that I said that we would stay one day and was disappointed that it won't be this time. So I gave her a choice of 2 night at DLH or 3 nights at any other hotel that she wants. she choose the 2 nights at the DLH.

She has been so good about not going to WDW this year and plus she will be on her best behaviour from now as I've told her she has to behave like a princess to stay at the hotel.

I guess I won't be clothes shopping for a while, oh well

I just hope we can get dates before the summer season starts.
I will be booking on Monday so wish me luck. :wizard:

Who needs new clothes anyway?!!! Best of luck for Monday! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Good luck! I'm sure you'll get the dates u want :)

I'd love to stay at the DLH one day, being a student it's not really within my funds! maybe after i graduate, get a job, and pay off my loan.....someday! :teeth:

Hope you have a great time!

Good luck for Monday! pixiedust: Your DD has impeccable choice, I would love to stay there one day! :cloud9:

well I was not too sure as it is a lot of money for 3 days, can go for 5 days for that price at another hotel, however after thinking about it, If we go for 5 days it would end up costing us more for example on meals etc. As the hotel has character breakfasts we don't have to do so many character meals which should save money, maybe we will just go to cafe mickey once which is my daughters favourite restaurant.

A problem will probably be souvenirs.. I am going to have to set DD a very strict budget..she loves Disney cuddly toys and usually comes home with about 6..she also loves any thing with aristocrats on.

Well maybe it won't be too much of a problem as we seem to already have most of the DLP shops in the house already :rotfl:

sorry to ramble on DB does not share my excitement for Disney..he just goes along with it and won't discuss it at all! don't even know if hes coming yet, I might be going with my sister instead.

I know it's a lot of money, but the hotel is well worth it! You'll love it and the character breakfast is lovely, be sure to get down early for a good table. :)

We stayed at the DLH earlier this month for my daughters 13th birthday. It was great. Any questions?

Don't worry, you ramble on as much as you want, we all love talking about Disney on here!!! :wizard:

How old is your DD?

My boys spent much time pouring over pictures of the 'pink hotel' this year saying 'I wish were staying there'
We eventually relented (but more because the over-grown children really wanted to go) and it was worth every penny!!!!!

ENJOY!!!!!!

My daughter is 4 :) I did show her some of the other hotels however she knew what she was looking for and turned the pages to find it.

That's superb news, how wonderful for you both - your daughter will feel just like a real princess. princess:

A girl who know her own mind - I like her style :thumbsup2

On some dates there is a 3=2 offer! So you get 3 night and 4 days for the price of 2 nights and 3 days. This way you can also afford 3 nights at this dream hotel!!! :cloud9:

hi :wave2: I am starting to feel excited already and I have not booked yet. I am also nervous about getting the dates that I want. My sister is doing her GCSEs till end of June so I can't book for dates until after her prom( she can not miss her prom even too go to the DLH!!).

so I am left with two weeks in July before the prices go up for summer. I am going to a Red Hot Chill Pepper concert the second week in July, and I want to avoid the week end. I have checked so far there is availability and its not to long to Monday.

The TA has informed us that there is building work out side the hotel, what was it like when you where there?

Good Luck! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Please Post Pics Too!

I also did the mistake of showing my DD(14) the rooms that we have a choice to stay in. Guess she is a princess too! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

She of course, picked the DLH! Good thing I'm using points! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wideyes, there was a small amount of building work going on which meant a small section of the hotel was behind a hoarding. We never saw or heard anthing and it did not effect us at all.
