Well we did a little tweaking last night

Thanks Alex...nothing like a good tweaking to speed things up!!!! I wondered what had happened this afternoon when I didn't get any of those nasty busy server messages!!!

It seems like the servers are trying to play catch up from yesterday. I'm getting new message alerts to messages I already read today and yesterday. Then, I've had to go to the threads I subcribe to to see if there are any new messages.

I don't know if this problem is realted to the DIS servers or my e-mail account, but I'm not getting the e-mail notifcations fast enough. I'm getting notified hours later (yesterday and today). I've quit looking at my e-mail for notifcations.

Otherwise, I am I have not gotten the server is busy message today.

BTW, the servers worked fine after midnight-2:30am yesterday.

For those that worry about leaving the DIS "open" don't worry about it at all. You are only consuming resources when you are actually opening pages or posting!

So are you saying that I should stop running that script that does forced refreshes of the 20 or so DIS threads that I have open (just in case someone posts something new)?
