Thanks to Kathie I bought an old Pelham Puppet a year or so ago and now I have two. I just picked up a Goofy one from the UK. It is old and good shape (missing his hat) but the strings are fine. I really like these and hope to add to the collection soon. I was wondering though if anyone here collects these? If so do you know of any glass gases to show them off in? Like ones for dolls but with a way to hang them up.

Hello! Just wondering if you still collect Pelham Puppets? We recently started collecting Disney character Pelham puppets and are looking for ideas of how to display them. Also how to clean them. Thanks!

Well hello... Yes I still collect them. I have been trying to get a stand for them to put them under glass but have had no luck. I did buy two curio cabinets off graigs list for $50 each that I am hoping to use for them. I plan on letting them hang.

I have not found a way to clean them that I could recommend.

I have seen doll stands that are height adjustable and have a "hoop" that grabs around the middle of the doll. I can't remember if the stand locks into place, but if you want to suspend the marionette from the strings, you might be able to find a stand tall enough to set the control piece on top and secure it some way.
I think that Disney sold some marionettes quite a few years ago in the Disney catalog. If I remember correctly, there was some sort of stand that they were suspended off of. If you can find any of those, it might give you an idea. I think that there were 4 characters in the set, but I don't remember any other specifics.
