Birthday and my 6 1/2 yo DD made me a card last night and had my DH sign it and this morning she woke up and said "Happy Birthday Mommy!!!!" but my DH never said a word.

Makes me feel a bit ignored and not appreciated. :(

Anyone else have an SO that isn't big on Birthdays, Anniversary's, Mother's Day, etc. I guess I should be used to it after 10 years.

That would piss me off! And cut him off!!   - I do have a sister who remembered my birthday once in the last 10 years. And I never ever forget hers!

Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday, Piglet.

My DH isn't big on them either, just tells me to go get whatever.

Poor Piglet!!! Hope you and your DD have a nice day anyway!

Happy Birthday Piglet. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I'd say many more, but not sure how old you are ;) :teeth:

HAPPY B-DAY!!!!!!!!! Sorry about your SO, and I can't even defend him as a fellow man. I never forgot my wife's B-day. Not sure what to say about him. BUT, I hope YOU and your DD have a great day together!!!!!!!!!!

Happy birthday, Piglet!

Sorry DH "avoided" your birthday. But I think you deserve something special, soooooo

1,000th Post! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Piglet, happy birthday to you.

I tried to find you a shirt that said "DH missed my birthday, and all I got was this lousy 1000th Post," but Target was fresh out.

Enjoy the day!

Pat

sorry your DH forgot....but Happy Birthday!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Hope your day gets better!

Happy Birthday Piglet! I sometimes think some husband's don't realize how much it means to have birthdays etc. recognized. Hopefully he treats you great for the rest of the year!

Zdnyem Rahzydaynya! (That's Happy Birthday in Russian!) It's as hard to say as it looks.

Wow! that sounds like my post back in December. We got up, went about our business, and no one(even the kids) made any mention of my birthday. I even dropped a hint and got nothing! Finally, about 3 hours into the day when I mentioned I had to go get a card for my father(we share a birthday), DH almost passed out. He couldnt believe how stupid he was.
So, after some strong words, some guilt(which I still give to him when it comes up, LOL!), and some money finagling...we are spending my next birthday in WDW. I have to say it worked to my advantage. Hope you have something good come from it too.

And... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for the Birthday Wishes!!!

Pat -- I feel honored to have your 1000th post for my Birthday. Hugs to you and Amy and one for Kimberly when she arrives. I actually live less than 2 hours from Danville.

Actually my DH really didn't forget my Birthday, cause he signed the card last night and was right there when DD told me Happy Birthday this morning.

I told him a while back that I didn't want anything for my Birthday because we have been saving money to go to WDW in October. I just didn't mean he was to ignore that I even have a Birthday. ;)

Thanks again -

Melinda
