Well......the first of the cherry crop is coming in

we sort of made it before the brown rot started to get into the cherries again.....The fungicide did work ..but because of the rain each day last week...we probably lost the spraying...The bing is the one we are picking off tonight...last night we picked on the Stella trees...the number four tree is a montmorency type and are a different color...We will try this in a few more days....the neighbors will come and pick this evening with us...we do love to share the cherries with everyone

We were in Traverse City MI last week. They are supposedly the cherry capital of the world....they had a lot of strawberries but not many cherries for some reason. Cherry wine is yummy....I brought 2 bottles back on the plane. I did find some cherry salsa. It's really hot but good.
