<font color=navy>I was home alone tonight, and just about to pick up my kids from the church at 9pm tonight, when I heard our front gate shaking. I usually leave our front door ajar for the kitties to run in & out, & I was thinking what a racket they were making hitting the wrought iron gate (I have an enclosed porch). I went to the door and there was some guy, with a cut hand asking me to help him out, and motioning for me to open the gate. Scared the heck out of me. I kind of panicked, so I called 911. I couldn't see the guy at my gate anymore, but I was too spooked to drive my car out of the garage to get the kids.
The police got here about 10 minutes later, and when I went out front, they had the guys up against their car. He was still in my front yard, even though I couldn't see him
The police said that they had been looking for him, and that he had been partying at the rugby game held at the Home Depot Center (located at the end of my neighborhood), and had had too much to drink.
Rather unsettling.
