Connecting the video call was the hardest part of my DAS interview by far. My phone and Safari both had trouble but Firefox on my laptop worked fine.

I barely got the words “I have multiple sclerosis” out of my mouth and he was approving me.

And then a very helpful agent set up all my return times for the entire trip, 60+8. I had really only planned on doing the first day then figured I’d chat each morning over the next week yo do the rest, but got lucky I guess.

I really wish they could do something about the consistency of handing out he DAS. They’re specifically not supposed to rely on diagnosis, but on need.
I admit I was surprised. If I didn’t have bladder issues as a symptom, MS alone really shouldn’t qualify me. I was all ready to explain my symptoms

They did 8 days of rides? For DH we got 7 days done. I'm not sure when we call for the last 3 days.

I have MS and never got a disability pass before but my condition has made me so susceptible to heat I may get one. Our last trip was June 2021 for my anniversary and I skipped a lot of rides because I can’t stand in line in that heat. I’m completely mobile otherwise, just a lot slower, but standing in line is miserable for me.

I've found most of the queues to be well shaded, with big fans helping a lot. When using DAS, one of my biggest issues is finding a cool place to wait - restaurants require a purchase to access seating, so most times I wander in a shop. If my PFD gets bad I do go to first aid to do some PT exercises, and it's always nice and cool in there. But finding a cool, shaded spot to wait for a DAS return time is tricky. It doesn't help that we can only go in July and August for the most part, but the later park hours at night help too.

You are paying to enter the part like every else. You should not be not be able to do a ride because of a medical condition. Disney makes the two hour lines.
The pre rides they set up are a joke, Not worth the effort. . You can get those ride there with no Waite
