Well, that was a moot debate (which stroller company)

I've been going back and forth on whether to rent from Orlando Stroller Rentals or Kingdom Strollers for our trip in 2 weeks. Apple was out because they don't have the City Mini GT, and I don't want to use a company that can't drop off and pick up at Bell Services. So, the debate between OSR and KS was on.

I've used both--OSR in 2011, KS in 2012. Excellent service from both. OSR used to be priced higher than KS and charged for a rain cover, so all-in, percentage wise, OSR was significantly more expensive. That has now changed, and OSR is only about $5 more than KS. So, price isn't a consideration anymore.

So THEN how do you decide. Back and forth. Forth and back. I finally decided on OSR because (1) the company was founded by a mom; and (2) KS partners with a company that has been banned here on the DIS, and frankly, I found the behavior of that banned company to be very offputting (I can remember what they did to be banned). If KS wants to associate with a company that engages in such practices, I'm less likely to want to do business with them.

So, I go to OSR's website to reserve my stroller...and they've got no availability for my trip dates. :headache: DOH. KS it is!

I really am surprised that during a less busy time of year OSR would be out of strollers of a particular model. :confused3 The past two years I reserved strollers two weeks out with no problem.

Just an FYI, Apple can deliver to bell services now, so maybe in the future it will help out.
