What a nice surprise! I would only suggest you may want to have the paperwork and deed drawn up with both yourself and your wife as owners. That way the ownership reverts to the other as survivorship.

Surprises can be fun... one night as I was checking The Timeshare store site(I do daily... Addonitis is always there!) I found a nice small contact with our UY for SSR as an Add-on. My wife was in bed asleep... I started talking to her about it & said I wanted to put a purchase offer in on it. She said OK & agreed that it would be a good move. She goes into work at 7am, before I wake up... I call TSS at 9am, make offer & it's accepted.
I call her cell to tell her we got it & she didn't know what I was talking about! She didn't remember our conversation at night! She said she must've been sleep talking! Nevertheless, she is happy we got it.
