I just checked in using Virgin Atlantic OLCI at 13:01 which is 1 minute after the window opened and I wasn't given then option to select my seats.

I have been "given" 73A & C and 74A & C with the following message when I clicked on the seat map

"Please note, our seat map is currently unavailable, as there are no alternative seats to allocate on this flight."

So much for all the information saying seat selection will be available at check in time :confused3:confused3

Personally I think it's all "pants" and I hope this is not an omen of things to come :worried:

other then the fact that they are right at the back of the plan they are really good seats to have. :) We always go for them. They are the two seats together on the 747 with all that extra room on the side so you don't feel so constricked. It does of course mean you will be right at the back of the immigration line though:worried: But you'll have no problems finding your suitcases as they will be the only ones left:rotfl:

Anyway hope they let you change them when you get there and again have a wonderful time. :goodvibes

Thanks Vanda but I bloody well hope we're NOT at the back of the plane as we're flying PE !!!! There will be BIG trouble if we're at the back of the bus :furious:

oops...yes you're right...we were 64ac! In that case at least you'll be INFRONT of the line for immigration...

I really must convince DH that PE is the way to go, I am sure I wouldn't have been quite so jet lagged if we were in PE. We used to fly PE but then did enconomy one year in the back seats and he now thinks that its fine. He suffered big time on the way back after his hip replacement this time so who knows maybe he'll change his mind next time. Either way I have enough miles for one of us to upgrade so I'm sorted:)

Haa Haa I love the way your mind works :rotfl2::rotfl2:

We always fly PE as DH has a "big build" so I can't ever imagine going back to Economy .... I think DH would just refuse to go :scratchin
