Yep, even here, we had a freeze last night and then I sent the kids to school in their winter parkas-- I believe the temp was back up to 38 by then! Man, half the time my kids don't even need a jacket for Halloween, it's too hot!!
Long winter is right Nat........

.....he left here (FL) this AM, got into Burlington, VT....had 40 degree temps at NOON!! They had snow up there this weekend (gone by today), but another dusting is expected tonight.....meanwhile, we're nice and toasty down here .....

I heard that this morning when I was on my way to work. Yes, I had to work during the holiday. Right away I thought of you and how lucky you are to be in FL. You are still there aren't you?
I also heard they had flurries in Boston. They showed people coming out of the subway . the faces of the people when they saw snow was so funny. Like a buch of little kids.
Get the shovels out, I think this is going to be a bad winter. Peggie
