i hate say anything and everything they stand for and max bemis cannot, cannot sing
what he does is not real singing, most of the time
but what you did was singing
and you turned an irritating say anything indie song into something really nice

EDIT: well actually on second listen, not something really nice, because the lyrics still suck
but you know what, the first time i listened, i didn't even notice the idiotic lyrics cause your voice carried the song so well.

I don't really like the song choice, but your voice has potential. (i don't think i spelled that right) Just don't go trying out for idol yet but with lessons you could be a good singer.
You should work on your breathing.

I think that sound is just a sucky song all together (lyrics wise). It's like the tune of it too was weird.. idk how to explain it lol.

I don't know how long you've been playing the guitar. And I don't know if you've ever heard of the country singer Gary Allan.

My dad just started playing again, so he's reteaching himself and going by youtube videos to re-learn. He said Gary's songs are the ONLY ones he can't even try to play. He said something about bar chords and a bunch of F's? lol

So I guess if you want some thing new, I'd say definitely check him out, on youtube!

That's not an attack against you, that's just an attack against the song. If you sang another song, ANY other song, I guarantee you you'd sound 1000x better to anyone.

im actually going to disagree with most of you, max bemis or whatever his name is, is actually one of the best lyricists of all time. his songs may all sound like they are about sex, but theyre actually about much deeper things. listen to the church channel, thats one of their best songs.

ya it wasn't the lyrics that turned me off it was the arrangement, just had a weird melody that's really hard to follow imo.

Your voice definitely has potential, but I don't think this was the best piece to show it off because it is a lot like just speaking. If I were you I would definitely invest in some voice lessons + practice practice practice.
