I don't know what's going on around here, but I have to join everyone in expressing my shock and disappointment in the banning of CC. I don't know her very well, but she is always so kind and helpful to everyone one, whether it be responding to a post or helping a new chatter in the chat room. Her personality and sense of humor are so refreshing in a day when so many people are so negative. They say that when you answer the phone, you should smile because the person on the other end can hear your smile in your voice. I think everyone here will agree that Cathy probably smiles when she's posting or chatting because you can feel it in her words.

I have always believed that every person we encounter has an effect on our lives, and Cathy is someone who has definitely had a positive affect on my life.

I've never really spoken to Michelle, but I'm sure she is a wonderful person as well, and will be missed by those who know her the best.

CC, if you see this, your cousins remain in our prayers and I hope that you will update us through someone.

I do not know what happened. I met CC at DISCON last year with her wonderful daughter. CC is a class lady. I enjoyed her posts and meeting both of them. I will miss her. CC may god bless you and yours.

This is weird....I thought when someone got banned from the DIS you were never supposed to talk about him/her, lament over their departure or even say (type) their name? It reminds me of when the Pharoah made that proclamation after he booted Moses out of Egypt.

But heck if everyone's going to break the rules and all, I'm sorry to see Cathy get the heave-ho. She was one of best Webmasters to ever threaten and yell at me about improper behavior around here, besides Alex. I really liked her.

Hey, maybe she's up on Mt. Sinai getting orders as we speak and will be back soon. Anyone know where I can get some lamb's blood?

I came over here looking for info about Michelle from the cruise boards. I don't really post here, but I wanted to express my shock at the fact that Michelle and Cathy were banned. Cathy was my DU agent for my first cruise and since then have enthusiastically recommended Cathy and DU, but given this news I don't think I will be passing anymore commission dollars on to DU. I cannot imagine anything that a person like Cathy could have done to "deserve" banning. Although I sometimes don't understand the ways of the moderators and webmasters or the reasons for their decisions, I always had this feeling that there was inherent fairness in whatever they did. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed to learn that this is very likely not the case.

OH well.
