Well It's Time Guys. . .

If you have read any of my earlier posts then you probably know that my bf is in the military and is attending basic and ait training this summer for 4 months . . .well the time to say so long is here. He leaves on tuesday for Fort Jackson SC. . .I am completely devestated. . .I feel right now like a part of me is dying slowly. I mean for 4 months I can't see him, hug him, kiss him. . .I see him EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and I have for 3 months. . .I can't wait until I see him again. I miss him already and he hasn't even left yet . I know this is a weird thing 2 say but guys I really need some support right now. Idk if I can do this on my own.

what an incredible brave young man to go thru that willingly.
my thoughts and prayers are with him and his loved ones for a safe trip and a safe time in ft. johnson.
maybe look into support groups, there are people who've gone thru this and they can help.

I know how tough it is to be separated from someone that means the entire world to you.
My BF goes to university in a diffrent city and even thought it's only 2 hours away its hellish. I know that empty feeling. So if you ever need to talk, having been through something similar I'm always here for support.

Thanks guys. I just got home from his going away party and it was really hard. They decided to do a karaoke and asked me to sing to him. . .He got to choose the song and he chose How Do I Live Without You by Leann Rimes. . .half way through the first verse I broke down comepletly. . .I felt so bad because it was supposed to be a good day and here I was crying my eyes out. He understood tho. He just sat there and hugged me and cried with me for a little bit. I found out that he can have his cell fone during AIT in ft. lee VA so that will be a little easier on me. I am the one taking him to meet his recruiter on Tuesday. . .I dont think I can do it. I feel so selfish bc I want to keep him here. I wrote a poem 4 him that he read 2night and it made him cry. I honestly dont know what I am going to do for 4 months. . .he is my everything.

I'm holding on. . .I'm with him right now (he's reading over my shoulder) . I love him so much and I am soooooo proud of him ! I am already missing him. We have been together all day for the past 2 days and I'll prolly c him 2moro. . .Part of me is ready 4 him 2 leave so he can come home to me. . .the other part wishes I could just keep him here with me. He cried guys. . .he actually broke down while he was reading my post and cried. . .which made me cry. . .His mom is now upset with him bc he is coming to pick me up 2moro morning to go get his things he needs 4 training and then he's coming out here 4 a bit. They r having a "camp out" in his room 2moro night and I don't wanna go bc I think that it is disrespectful to keep him up all night so he said he is going to come out here and stay with me until I fall asleep (as dumb as it sounds he usually just sits in the chair with me and I end up falling asleep. . .when I wake up he is usually putting me in my bed). Then he is picking me up on Tuesday morning and we r going to eat then. . .then he leaves. . .he's giving me his phone, his mp3, his atm card and the spare key 2 his car. . .IDK if I'm ready 4 this guys!

my heart is truly breaking for you. i cannot imagine how terrifying this must be for you!
as i read your posts i'm thinking about if i were in your position and my bf was leaving for such along time.
i don't even know how i'd cope. i can barely manage him being 2 hrs away at school during the year!! i cry. alot.

seriously though, you have all my love and prayers for you & him.
i'm sure your love will stay strong during your time apart and it'll be even stronger once you're back together again!!!

you should definitley surround yourself with a great group of girlfriends who will take you out whenever you're feeling down or lonely!!
and of course you know we're always here for you!!!
