Its now sitting right outside of the 700 loop.

It was quite a site trying to get it out of the 1500 loop.

We dropped the tailgate once - had to stop outside the dog exercise area - and lost my daughter at one point - but we made it - and heres what she looks like:

I forget the site numbers - but if you are comming out of the bike / golf cart path from pioneer hall - you wont be able to miss it - Im sorry my sign says "Fort Friends" instead of "Fort Fiends" - thats how nieve I am. Hopefully it will stay together and I will represent us well through the holidays. It was so much fun getting to meet some of you during the grand gathering - I hope you were able to see my pirate ship even though it wasn't illuminated and I also hope didn't give any of you the swine flu - take care - Whip (or Elaine if you Prefer).

Is it going to be staying there for a while?? I arrive in 3 weeks and would LOVE to see it.

Supposedly the very - very - nice folks at that site are going to try and incorporate it into their Christmas decorations - so - if mother nature does not take it down - it should still be here - I hope you enjoy!

Wow..that's really nice of you to give it too them.
I sure would be curious as to how they're planning to incorporate it into a Christmas Display. :santa: Maybe one of our local fiends  will be able to update us with a photo at some point.

that was so great for them to take it to their site. you did an awesome job whip...

Sorry to hijack, but I wanted to say Hi to Cheryl. It just clicked when I saw your furbabies! I asked you about the bike trailer for the dogs! It was great to meet you and your sister at the GG!

Hi Elaine!

That is great that your creation will live on through the holidays at the Fort!

I hope to be back to the Fort a couple more times before the year ends, and I will most definitely post photos of your fantastic pirate ship. The folks who camp on the last two sites in 700 are quite creative, and will undoubtedly incorporate your ship and other pieces into their clever decorations.

In fact, since they are Fort regulars, and store their decorations anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if your creation lives on for many years to come!

Wow....ya see Whip...Disney may have only offered an honorable mention...but to the real Fort fans...your art will live to spread miles of smiles for many thousands to come!!!

It looks fantastic on that site!!! The shark blew over earlier today, so I had to go and set it back up. People can't believe the display does not belong to Disney. Pictures simply do not do it justice.

Whip...I so enjoyed meeting you and especially how Dave fit in so perfectly on BATWiT day!! You are both very special people & so is your mom. I particularly enjoyed meeting her & speaking with her on Saturday nite.

Don't believe everything you hear from somebody with an otter on the dash. I missed your camper last week. If you hear bang bang bang followed by the sound of shattering glass you know I'm back.

My family thought it was awesome I was in the 500's in the old blue bird and my kids had me drive by your site every day. how did you guys make it, and then how did you transport it? Oh yeah, how long did it take you?:worship:

As in you pound on the door and then drop your drink ?

That Blue Bird is cool. I have seen it there a couple of times. Have never seen you around it or i would have to stop and ask how you did it all. If you did it you did a great job.

Looks great in its new home. Its on the corner of site 733

I wish I could have stayed an extra day to help move it.
I know Gene and Hilda and the 2 Charlies Will take good care of it.

I just love the clock in the gators mouth too.
