Just a few extra's to get. This year I am making my girlfriends and a some of the teachers that I help in the school (and have become friends with) a gift called Snowman's soup. It's very cute and we made it for our Girl Guide leaders this year.
Here it is:

1 snowman themed mug
1 pkg hot chocolate
15 mini marshmellows in a small bag
1 plasic spoon (I use gold for that festive feel)
1 candy cane
3 hershey kisses

I then wrap it up in celophane and put decrative wire around it and add the following saying:

Was told you've been real good this year, always glad to hear it!
With freezing weather drawing near,, you'll need to warm the spirit.
So here's a little Snowman Soup complete with stirring stick,
Add hot water, sip it slow. It's sure to do the trick!!

Tantor, That is a cute idea for a small gift. I made my mother a BIG jar of home made Hot Chocolate! I still have to decorate the jar(no biggie). I will put a card on the jar with the a snowman soup poem and directions for making a cup of hot chocolate.

Heres the recipe
2 cups nonfat dry milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup non-dairy creamer
1 dash of salt
miniature marshmallows,


Combine ingredients and mix well. Store in an airtight container. Yield 4 cups mix



To make Laura's Hot Cocoa Mix:

Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of mix to your favorite mug and fill with boiling water. Stir to blend. Add some marshmallows or cream.

Sometimes we like to add some miniature marshmallows to the mix and then fill a quart jar with the cocoa mix and miniature marshmallows combination. The marshmallows dry and get firm, but soften when hot water is added.
