My five yr old nephew just found out he's going to be a demon in the christmas play this year (I gotta wonder what demons are doing in the play...lol...guess I'll find out in december!) Blake is seriously into heros right now and in all his play he's always the good guy and definately the boss. He told his mom that he guessed it would be ok for him to pretend to be a demon but..."Well, I thought they'd at least pick me to be God or something..." The 'at least' part is what is funny to me. He can't imagine anyone else being able to play that part as well as he could, lol.

That is so sweet!

In John-Cole's school the 6th graders always get the main parts and 1-5 are always in the choir. J.C. came home again this year and you could here the in his voice when he said "oh goody I get to be in the choir again!" LOL!

At church he always has one of the main parts and loves it!

When Ryan was in the third grade, his teacher sheepishly called me to ask a favor. The school had a predominantly minority student base. They were doing a program for Black History Month, and in the program there was a skit about the Rosa Parks story. Apparently, there was only one child in the third grade "qualified" to play the bus driver...guess who? Let's just say, Ryan was not keen on playing the bad guy...he portrayed the bus driver in a far more benevolent light than the facts would have it.
