Around two month ago I sent in my CL application, got the questions, and zealously answered them to the best of my ability. For a week I checked my email constantly, in the morning before school, after school, five minutes after school ect. for about two weeks i did this. then i started checking every once in a while, eventually, i just gave up. my question is what is the status of my application, did you recieve it? this really meant alot to me, and it hurt when after weeks i didnt get a reply, and for a while i just gave up, any feedback would be much appreciated.

What kind of questions do you have to answer to apply for CL? And how long do you have to be on VMK to be considered? These are questions I have never gotten straight answers for. Thanks!

i had tried to apply after i had been in vmk about a month. I was shot down soon as i clicked the link. Forget the actual message, but something about not quite being ready yet. So a couple weeks later i tried again, this time i got through and entered my info, got e-mailed a set of questions (which they say not to share with anyone, so i am not posting them here). But basically they are questions about the game itself and vmk policies, to pick your brain a bit and see what you know. Needless to say, i sent my app. in the same day as dark, i remember when he posted about it and i thought it would be cool if we ever did get approved and if it would be the same day, which would be cool, dark is a cool dude lol. So we have both been waiting a few months, not a word from the black hole. We just snuck in under the application deadline. I underdstand them not accepting any more for a while, but if they are not going to deal with the ones that DID come in, then they should have cut off applications long before that.

But then again, theres a lot of things that vmk SHOULD have done and didnt, so just add this to the list lol.

So, like him, i have pretty much given up hope for now. And really, part of me hopes they never approve mine. I mean i help the people i help regardless of my title, and quite honestly some people just plain annoy me lol. But i'd like to see dark finally get it.

You are so right, I would like the title of CL but don't know if I want the responsibility that comes with it. I pretty much carry on the tasks of a CL anyway, I am only lacking the title. I think I'm going to carry on my mission of playing VMK with the main goal of helping others, and hope I can gain some respect as a "CL without the title" as more time passes...........

Hey, Dark!
About the best thing you can do is try to corner a staff person within the game and try to tell them your situation.
FYI: It took me about a month to actually get the title and badge after receiving the email notification that I was approved.....Twice! Talk to some other CL's who seem to have "connections", that can act as a go-between for you to communicate with staff. The "Black Hole" will get you nowhere....


Try getting into VMK_Runo's room. Seems like he's only there to help people It's rarely on the popular list, but run a search for him.

I also applied over a month ago. I haven't heard anything. I read somewhere that some people who applied received an email back stating that the staff received their answers. I think I have given up hope. I love vmk but I don't think they were prepared for the amount of players they currently have. I don't expect a reply or the title. I guess it wasn't meant to be.
