Morning guys

Late start as usual, all ready to go in our pool, eldest dipped her toe in and quickly retreated...... The pool guy must have turned the pool heat on and the water is hotter than a hot bath never thought I would ever be complaining about a pool being too hot

Hopefully the pool guy will be here shortly but no idea how long it will take to cool off

Anyways, good news is I have managed to book a table at La Cellier for later, out first time there so looking forward to it

One of my memories of holidays as a child is being bribed to get in freezing cold caravan site pools by the lifeguard throwing coppers in.

I remember a few years back the pool heat wasn't on when we arrived and called to complain, they must have come and turned it up full as the next day it was boiling, thank god my DH checked the temp before he got in as it was scalding, hotter than any hot tub I've been in. We never get in any pool since then without checking the temp first.

Villa management came over very quickly, emptied out some of the hot and filled up with cold, it was still a tad on the warm side today though

I always dip a toe in first but it's always been to see if the water is too cold, lesson learned or should that be learnt

Le Cellier was nice but not worth the money IMHO, our best steak so far has been at longhourn steakhouse, we'll defo be going back there at some point.

Off to universal later on tomorrow

Thank goodness you tested the water first I hope you aren't being charged for all the energy taken to heat the pool to that temperature
