Well, I have had absolutely no luck

If it's bowel issues, have you tried going to the doctor? - if it happens to be some kind of infection they can give you antibiotics that might be able to chase the bug off in a few days : )

All the same there's plenty bathrooms on the way to the parks. Believe the Village has quite a few you can pop into without it being too awkward. McDonalds, Earl of Sandwich, and Starbucks (I think...) have them. Also try cranberry juice, it's supposed to be a good natural cleanser of the system.

It would seem a shame to cancel the trip otherwise, hope some of this advice helps!

Just for the last 2.8 years! She has a referral for the hospital in March. It's not a case of bathrooms being handy - it is quite difficult getting a 3 year old totally stripped and cleaned up in a public toilet! :sad2: I have IBS - it could well be she has inherited my rubbish bowels, so we are well versed in the trying everything and making frequent visits to the doctor etc. For years it has been problems actually going, but the last few weeks has been the total opposite, which the doc says is a consequence of being so bunged up (and nothing stops her being bunged up). We thought it was dying down but has kicked off again! Hence the panic!

No luck on the upgrade. Does anyone know if disabled toilets are freely available to use at DLP? Or if you need a pass (like at some shopping centres?) Just thinking if we do have an issue we may be allowed to use these?

As far as I remember the disabled toilets are just in with the other normal ones so there will be no problem using them - they arent kept locked or anything.
Your other option would be the babycare centre - I think you would still be ok to use that as your child is so young still

Oh dear : ( thought it was a one off thing, hope I wasn't being a bother. Know the feeling a little, I seem to have some of my mothers weaknesses as well. Well I hope at least it goes away as quick as it came to a degree! Or that there's something you can do to work around the problem.

I can't recall if you've been before when Rosebug was a baby? If so, you'll be aware of the childcare centres as someone has mentioned, if not...

They are probably the best option in those circumstances should an accident happen. The two I've been in (park & studios) had large areas around the toilets as well as wash basins etc to strip off/clean. Only issue being there are only the two (I think but check a park map).

I'd be flabbergasted if you had problems using them if your DD was having 'issues' - the staff will clearly see there is an issue and she is still little anyway :).

Good luck - fingers crossed all the 'planning' will be in vain and you'll have no problems at all whilst there :) :wizard:

Sorry to hear that you haven't been able to upgrade and that your daughter is having problems. Hope it doesn't spoil your trip

No - it's cool, I am just so stressed about it! Thought she was getting better but it has kicked off again tonight! :-(

DLPDreams - I know I have been before but my memory is like a sieve - I thought the baby changing when we were there was just in with the normal toilets but in the female toilets? Which is what panics me, because it can sometimes be a two person job! I am thinking we will resort to nappies again just for the weekend, but that just seems so uncomfortable for her! But if needs must!

I'm probably staing the obvious here, sorry, but have you got some 'pull-up' nappies? they may be more comfortable for her, as more like underpants, and she can still go to the toilet easily if she can manage it?

Hopefully you won't need it. I feel for you, my young nephew has similair problems. Hope you all still have a great time

There are baby changing facilities in the toilets but there is also a baby care centre in each park - In Disneyland park its at the top of Main street near the First Aid station

Sorry, just seen your message :).

No, the babycentres are great :thumbsup2. You will have no problems there at all as they are nice and big/clean/DH can go in with you etc. As SmallWorld says, the Park one is next to Plaza Gardens at the end of Main Street on your right (if you've just walked down Main Street and Castle straight ahead of you).

I can't recall where the Studios one is - think it's to the right of Front Lot as you go in...? But I guess you'll be doing the Park first so can check the other on the map.

Pull ups sound the best option though - might even keep her a bit warmer!!

I'm hoping you won't even need this information though :wizard:.
