Well, here's a switch

I've been having problems with my home PC; locking up, RAM 0E errors and having it crawl like a turtle. I took out a suspect DDR stick but that didn't help. Tonight, I uninstalled my McAfee Virus Scan Professional suite and Woohoo!!!, it is like night and day.

So, instead of me screaming at my PC, my PC is screaming like an F-16!

Why did it take me so long to figure this out? D'oh!

Kinda like our old pc - we had to reinstall win98 more than once because the system kept locking up, not working properly. We couldn't find the source of the problem. We replaced all of the memory and I don't know what all. Turns out, after two years, the batteries inside the case needed replacement. How aggravating to reinstall Windows every week without being a necessity. errr
