My son JUST turned 4 so will not go to K until next year. He's going to daycare/preschool this year and that's new for him. I was lucky enough to find a caregiver for him that only wanted to watch him. After the first year, she lost her home and had to go to apts. They wouldn't allow her to watch him there, so she started coming to our home. It was so nice for him, but he's now a bit spoiled!

My older one is going into middle school........now that's a bit of a worry for me.

I teach 2nd, so when he comes to school he'll come to mine instead of the neighborhood school. I'm thinking of moving down to K so I can see to it that things are run right down there! They didn't do so well this year getting the kids ready for 1.

I didn't know Meshmar got kicked off................last I saw his posts weren't that bad..............

I taught K in a preschool for the past 2 years. Kindergarten is so much fun! If you are familiar with Frog Street Press, I used a LOT of their stuff when I taught K. I even went to the Frog Street Press conference in Dallas last year. Boy, was that ever fun! I don't get to go this year though. Cause who knows if I"ll even be teaching this next year (we moved and now I"m jobless).
