About posting about a deleted thread ... there is nothing mentioned about that on the Posting FAQs ...

I have to say that you guys have kept me entertained. I had surgery on Friday, and I'm pretty useless but I can sit on my butt and read hilarious threads. I didn't know the whole can't post about a deleted thread thingy so that must explain it. OK fair enough. "Nuf said.

Yeah. I was trying to read it while somewhat working. Not an easy thing to do when it's a fast moving thread.

I've tried to get an answer to the "why did the threads *poof* with no warning question" ... with no response. I did get warned about telling anyone about what happened ... as if I was the one that started the threads. I had as much control over that as I did the tag from the TF.

I see that even your new tag is gone. Did you delete it?

I'm basically ignoring them on the test thread. I have several messages into Mods. Maybe I'll get a response ... maybe not. I'm not sweating it.

The fact that a mod warned me about the threads I didn't start seemed a little out of line. It's hard to ignore a Mod's warning - especially when you can't stop others from bringing it up again.

What happens if my friends on a "good" thread bring it up? Are they going to delete those with no warning too? Does that mean I really am a thread killer now? Just joining a thread can be dangerous to the thread ...

I'm always late for the party I actually read about 24 pages of the original deleted thread, read almost all of the other deleted thread, went to actually do some work, and when I came back it was ..... POOF!! I was dying to join in at the time, but couldn't cause I can't post from work. Looks like you guys had a blast anyway!

P.S. I don't know what the fuss was about either, but I've been here long enough to know that the mods can do what they want, when they want, and for no reason that has to be apparent to anyone. It's not a democracy, that's for sure.
