I've tried to get an answer to the "why did the threads *poof* with no warning question" ... with no response. I did get warned about telling anyone about what happened ... as if I was the one that started the threads. I had as much control over that as I did the tag from the TF.

Mesh, you will not get an answer. It is the board guidelines I guess. I was part of a clique and we got shut down and members banned. Just the way it is. Why question it or let it stand in the way of a good time? Just post where you feel comfortable and have fun. I have met many GREAT people on this board!!
In other words, just have fun with the people you have fun with and don't dwell on the ones you don't. Fair?

That's just it. I didn't post anything outside the guidelines. No one on our original thread posted anything outside the guideline. They just went poof. If someone had gone outside the lines, at least a warning should have been posted. As it is, it leaves the question in peoples minds about it.

The mod that warned me admitted that I was wronged first ...

I think that b/c the funny stuff continues that it is being an issue. Anytime the fun stuff is talked about--the what caused the fun stuff commences. Then it gets rehashed--then people debate that.

Picklegate was fun while it lasted--but the mods don't owe any explanations for decisions. The mystery is tempting to solve--but in this case it is especially not likely and when one continues walking the fine line of walking the *poof* rope---someone is bound to get pushed off the DIS Boards. Crappy--but just the way it is. I guess to prevent DIS-anarchy or something.

I'm basically ignoring them on the test thread. I have several messages into Mods. Maybe I'll get a response ... maybe not. I'm not sweating it.

The fact that a mod warned me about the threads I didn't start seemed a little out of line. It's hard to ignore a Mod's warning - especially when you can't stop others from bringing it up again.

What happens if my friends on a "good" thread bring it up? Are they going to delete those with no warning too? Does that mean I really am a thread killer now? Just joining a thread can be dangerous to the thread ...

Sorry about the double poof, wish I could have read all the funny stuff before it happened. It sure was fun while it lasted though. We can still be witty and have fun, as long as we don't bring up *you-know-what*. Wish the mods could have just shaved off the first part of the thread and left the funny stuff. Oh well.

A second thread started (not by me either); the original issue was barely mentioned; I made 2 or 3 posts; POOF;
I take DMom to the grocery store and BING, you've got a warning.

If I had started threads over and over; If I pulled my hair and did a lot of name-calling; If I had ... but I DIDN'T and got warned for it!

It makes me leery of making ANY posts on DisBoard out of fear that it will cause my real friends to be hurt.
