Hello fellow DISers and welcome to my first ever pre-trip report. I decided to do a PTR because it's tough containing my excitement and keeping quiet about plans, so I thought I'd come here where everyone shares my love of all things Disney. This year's trip is going to be a surprise! I haven't quite figured out exactly how we're going to surprise our girls yet, but I'm sure between you lovely people here and pinterest I'll come up with something. Now on to the introductions...

I'm Ellie, a stay at home mom to two lovely princesses, and hopeless romantic (lol). My other half is Carl, a hard working, thrill seeking, awesome Daddy who is a sucker for the two lovely princesses. Here we are last year at MK in the rose garden.

Munchkin is our oldest and is smart and imaginative. At 6 years old she is very advanced and a joy to be around. She is a girly girl, loves princesses, and her favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast. Sweet Pea is our youngest and is very active and outspoken. She just turned 2, loves to play and climb, and is the life of the party. She is an adventurer like her daddy, loves animals, and her favorite movie is Lilo and Stitch. Here they are last year at the BBB. (Please excuse Sweet Pea's mismatched headband. We couldn't find the matching red bow but she really wanted to be in the picture with her big sissy.)

We have plans to be at WDW Oct 26 - Nov 3, with tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Oct 27. Planning to enjoy the food and wine festival and we've also gotten some fantastic ADRs this time around. Can you tell how excited I am about the food? :) Next up is our Disney loot we've been collecting the past few months in preparation for our trip. Hope you enjoy!

Please bear with me, as the next few photos were taken with my iPhone camera. We have been stashing things away in a bin and it has been near torture only being able to stash and organize things while the girls are asleep or during school hours. But alas we are currently 40 days out, so not that much longer to wait!

Here are the girls' carry on suitcases that will hold activities, snacks, blanket and sweater, and swim suit with change of clothes.

Here are our stroller tags (on the left, still needing to be cut) made by a wonderful DISer on the creative disigns board. I printed them on card stock and had them laminated at staples. I got coordinating ribbon on eBay which will attach them to the stroller, along with some zip ties. The small orange tag is for our small cooler that we'll store underneath the stroller. I edited that one myself.

Another fantastic designer made custom covers for the girls activity books, which I also had printed on card stock and laminated. Inside the book for Sweet Pea is simple coloring pages and inside the book for Munchkin is coloring pages, word searches, crossword puzzles, math games, mad libs, etc. I found all of the activity pages through a link posted to a sticky thread at the top of the Disney For Families board.

Here's some of our stroller decorations so we can spot it in a crowd. The pumpkin garland will be for the MNSSHP day. Oh and the retractable sharpies are for autographs, of course.

We purchased some super cute rain coats for the girls at Century 21. They were the last of each in their sizes! We'll be getting the Disney Parks ponchos when we arrive. We have a rain cover for the stroller so the jackets may not get used but better safe than sorry. I got these cool little misting fans that can hook onto a belt loop or backpack to keep us cool. Less than $5 at Walmart. We have stroller fans (not pictured) from last year. Bottom left is a win for Dad. He scored these LED Flashing Steps, we'll attach them to the girls shoes and never lose track of them in the dark. How cool is that?!

Here are some mealtime items that'll add to the fun and convenience factors. Paper princess placemats (for the hotel room breakfasts), plastic Minnie Mouse table toppers that you peel and stick (for the restaurants), Minnie and Daisy bibs (because some foods, even for the most skilled toddler eaters, are still pretty messy), Frozen zip lock bags, and Princess/Frozen snack containers (so that their precious cheddar bunnies won't get smushed).

Last but not least are some headbands, Minnie ears, and jewelry that even dad had a hand in bringing home. Munchkin loves to accessorize and has recently gotten Sweet Pea on board with her.

Up next ADRs...
