well crud, new military tickets deal came too late

We had originally made ressies for SOG, then I cancled it a few months ago and switched to Poly with the 4/3 deal. Now with the new deal where military gets 5 day hopper for free/family 99$ that makes for a great deal. <sigh> Please tell me the extra couple grand I'm spending on this trip will be worth it I told dh this means we just have to go again this year

Couldn't you still take advantage of this new deal? You can always cancel, pay the cancellation penalty, then rebook, but make sure you can rebook first. I would call CRO right away and see if they can help you take advantage of this new deal. I read on the boards how folks do this all the time. Good lukc with your trip!

Change your ticket option for the buy 4, get 3 free to a one day basic ticket. You can use it for a future trip. Purchase your military tickets for this trip. It is a win-win deal!!!!

Federal/State National Guard and Reserves (with active papers dated 1/1/08-12/23/09)

The military service member will receive one Complimentary 5-Day "Disney's Armed Forces Salute“ Ticket with PH and WPF&M - this ticket is not upgradeable
Up to 5 of their guests can purchase for $99 a "Disney's Armed Forces Salute Companion" (5 Day Base) ticket and can add on the PH or WPF&M option for $25 each (which is 50% off the normal price); however, these tickets may also be upgraded to Premium, Annual and Seasonal Passes. Seasonal Pass upgrade requires proof of Florida Residency. No other upgrades, such as adding on additional days or the NE option, are available

I'm not touching this trip with a 10 foot pole LOL it's already paid for and done and I'm afraid I'd screw something up!

DH and I are seriously talking about taking a 5 day trip though just the two of us. Since we bought 6 round trip tickets on airtran for this trip we'll have 1 free ticket and 1 half paid for. So all we'd have to do is finish out the airline tickets, room and food and a 99$ ticket for me.

oh and find someone to keep 4 kids for 5 days ROFL

It's sounds like the same offer they offered right after 9-11, although I can't remember the exact dates. We also received 40 % off the room. It really made for an inexpensive trip. I've checked and there's nothing on mousesavers, disney, or the SOG website. Maybe this was an email op's hubby received. I also know that when these offers come on, my hubby always gets an email about it, to let the military member know. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
