As for the pain, I feel like you gotta do what you gotta do. You cant live in pain all the time. If it requires surgery, then it does.

Alright so, everything is okay. My scans are clear and my doctors were thrilled to see me. I got upgraded to check-ups every 4 months, instead of 3.
My orthopedic oncologist is leaving in June, so we're sad about that. He is actually pretty confused as to where the pain in my knee is coming from. I'm on my last resort now - pain patches. I haven't been using them long enough to know if they make a difference, but if it doesn't we're going to surgery. My dad is vehemently opposed to surgery, and is totally convinced it's for the worse. (IE- infection will set in, leg is amputated) I have faith in my doctor and I trust him. So, we'll see where that goes.

I haven't heard from my friend. I'm not surprised actually, I know if it were me I'd clam up.

Well I'm glad everything went well today.
Lets just hope you don't need the surgery.

thats great that your scans are clear hpe the pain goes away and you dont need the surgery. and if you do, i hope your dad can be convinced that you wont get infections and stuff
