We are going to a TV taping on Friday, so actually have Thursday 2/10 or Saturday 2/12 available.

When should we do DL?

You really need 3 days to do it but if you only have one, I am pretty sure Thursday would be better than Saturday for the crowds.

We're seeing 2 1/2 Men at Warner Bros.

Did you have any trouble getting seats? How much before the show did you get in line?

Thursday will have much smaller crowds, but if you have any interest in Fantasmic (it's much better at DL than at WDW), then you have to go on a weekend. You could always get a 2-day hopper and go both days.
