Hi all! Back from the vet! All went just fine with Cleo and even though she is 10 years old the vet suggested we do nothing different than before. Actually she can come in less for one vaccination since she doesn't go anywhere (kennels). So life is good with the kitties.

Deb, I loved that commercial too! It made me bust out laughing!!!

Would you guys mind helping me out with something. I have a dress/hair dilema and I would love to figure it out soon (even though I have about 5 months). If I post pics, can y'all look and tell me what you think?

I may be wrong but isn't Deb going somewhere in a couple of days. Oh yes, now I remember it is WDW. If you don't find your clothes then you may have to buy some while you are down there. Don't you just love any excuse to shop.

Jennifer, I am already in my snowman pj's. There is no school tomorrow because of a teachers in service and I don't have to be there. Yey!!!!!!!

I have some really great news. Dh FOUND my sapphire bracelet that I lost. It must have gotten attached to the blanket and fell off under the bed!!!! He found it today when he was looking for his watch!!!! I was so happy I started crying when he gave it to me.

Dh is feeling better. He did end up getting sick last night but feels much better today. He went with me to pick up the kids because he HAD to get out of the house. He was getting shack wacky I think. So far I feel okay. I was a bit queasy this afternoon but I didnt eat much today either.

It is supposed to get WICKED cold here tonight. They are projecting freezing temps in the interior sections of South Florida and 40s in our area with a wind chill factor bringing it down to feeling like the teens in the interior and 20s in the costal areas where we are. UGH TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COLD for me!!!! I dont have the clothes for this kind of weather. The kids do but I dont.

Karen, I am so glad that you have found your sapphire bracelet. i remember you telling us about losing it. Happy Dance!!! My DH has been telling me about the cold weather in Florida every night when he calls. Of course I start singing LA LA LA LA just to keep him grounded. We are in the teens for the high temperature of the day. Just keep layering those clothes and if nothing else works tell DH to keep you warm (it is one of DH's duties) and since you are a mom, let the kids give you lots of hugs. The hugs of my kids always keep me warm.

Had my friend do the body wrap thingy today just for the heck of it....kinda cool... uncomfortable and BORING as anything as you basically just stand around for an hour (A very hard thing for me to do) but the results were sorta fun. Lost 6 inches total... 'course who knows how long that lasts, but hey it was kinda fun trying something new.

Nancy, it's so sweet of you to get those sweatshirts for Karen! Dont'cha just love YaYas!?! I've missed seeing you around Nancy, and yes I miss our dear Jeannie so much!!

No clothes yet Ya Ya's, and I have not even looked again. Why you ask, because we just got home from the PEDIATRICIAN. Ack--Bubble Boy's bubble failed. He has an ear infection, and might have Strep. Ack ack ack ack ack.

The PNP did prescribe chewables instead of liquid so we don't have to refridgerate, etc, but sheesh. He will have to take 3 tablets/2x a day.

So Nurse Ya Ya's, do I still use Earplanes with him on Saturday? The PNP suggested Benadryl (starting now) and Ibuprofin about 1 hour before we leave.

Ack ack ack.

Oh Deb I'm so sorry that Bubble Boy isn't feeling up to par. But I know that since he is starting his meds now, he will hopefully be feeling much better by the time you see Mickey. My best thoughts are with you.

Six inches!!!! Wow, I didn't think that Kim had six inches to spare!!! Girl the wind may get gusty and blow you away.

Oh, a dress for Elaine. Now I am relieved. I was afraid that you wanted to cut your beautiful hair.

Okay pics... I had to do these with a tripod and I look terrible but the dilemma is that I have straps that keep falling. Either I can fix them and make them shorter for my short frame or I can ditch them all together. And also, hair up or down. I think I know which I like best but you all tell me. Afternoon wedding (and yes I can lose the straps if I want to on the dress ) Also one of my eyes is very dry so I am not winking at you all

OH NO!!!! POOR BUBBLE BOY!!! oh Deb and you were so close!!! OK...now ya don't have to worry...he will already be on antibiotics and feelin FINE before you leave!! YES to the earplanes...even more so now! DO the benadryl thing...start today!!! It will dry him up a little and ease some of that ache he will probably feel in the air. Motrin is a definate before you leave. Take lollipops for him to suck on during take offs and landings too. And when all these things are done...relax...you will have done all you can to make Ian comfy. The magic is almost here!!!! Keep your chin up!!!

OK...I'm struggling with this one...Kim had some kind of body wrap to lose 6 inches??? KIM...stand in front of a mirror...are you there? Ok...turn sideways...done? Can you still SEE yourself woman??? What a cold, cold day!! Busy too, for me at work, so I haven't had much chance to stop in.

Debbie, I'm so sorry that Ian's bubble didn't work! Hope the meds kick in real quick and he feels better soon. I'm no nurse, but I'd still use the ear planes for the trip. The air pressure change will probably hurt worse with the infection and the earplanes will help relieve that. Hope you find your box of summer clothes! Having moved this past summer, I know how frustrating it is when you can picture the box, but can't lay hands on it!!

I see I'm just in time for the beauty contest. Elaine wins, hands down!!!!! My vote is for no straps. I like your hair down, best, but I think you should let the weather dictate that. Are you the kind who gets really uncomfortable with your hair down in hot weather? If so, put it up!

Kim, I've had a seat belt installed on your beach chair for the luau, so you won't have to worry if the breeze picks up. I didn't think you had 6 inches available to lose, either!!!

Karen, that is the BESTEST news about your DH finding your bracelet!! Whoo-Hooo, now you have 2!!! I know the one that was lost was special, though, and you must be soooo relieved.

*Warning* *Warning* *Warning* I'm gonna whine here a little

So, the PNP says she is going to prescribe chewables for Bubble Boy, so we don't have to worry about keeping his meds refridgerated, etc. So I drop off the script, bring Bubble Boy home to get in him jammies, and go back out to pick up the meds.

Now, they told me 20 minutes, but HALF THE WORLD is sick, and there had to be 15 people killing time at CVS waiting for medicine. So I join the masses.

Well, I get home, and the pills look JUST like my 800mg Ibuprofin that I take for my knee. JUST LIKE THEM. So I call the pharmacist to confirm, and yep, these are the goods. It took 25 minutes to get 3 of these pills into Ian. I called the PNP back, and asked to have it changed to the pink drinkable stuff. I will deal with the refridgeration issues. I cannot go through this 2x a day.

*sigh* I still haven't looked for my shorts, and now DH and DS are in bed, so I cannot cause a ruckus while I look. Good thing I took tomorrow off, and we don't leave til Saturday.

Sheesh.

Elaine--I like the 'no straps, hair up' pic the best, you have a beautiful smile. I also think you look very nice with your hair down, but the pic with your hair up and no straps is just gorgeous!
