Kim, go find Dan's thread with the pre-meet and TLK meet pictures. And there are pictures at the restaurant after seeing TLK. You will see our own sweet YaYa and hubby, and Shep and his beautiful family too. Then there is our YaYa Beccy and her darling boys.

Betty, how was the conference? It's not fair to leave us hanging like this! Are you still thinking of bringing Dd in August? It's looking like I may have to bring mine. Are you going to Columbus meet this weekend?

Jennifer and Deb, I am turning green with envy. I cannot believe that we are going to Florida in August, will be within 60 miles of WDW, I have an annual pass, and we are not going to WDW. Siiiiiigggghhhhhh....this is what I get for marrying a nonbeliever. At least we are going to Florida and checking out places to live, makes my 5 year plan seem more a reality.

I think if we have a VCR, we ought to rent the YaYa video and watch it one night with our Kahlua and Creme, Bahama Mama's or whatever else we decide. What do you all want to do about groceries? Let me know. I could bring with, if needed.

The parent is coming in tomorrow at 1:35. Two of the teachers on my team will be there to give me support. The student's teacher advisor called the mom because she didn't feel that I should be handling this, although front office thinks that I am capable. ha!ha! Anyway, the mom has more issues than just the grade that her son earned. Seems her biggest issue is with the teacher that I am subbing for. She claims that her son is in counseling because of the her. I caused her son some stress when I mentioned that I was leaving in three weeks. She wants to discuss the possibility of me staying on as the permanent teacher. (Like that would happen) Back to her issue with me and the grade. Mom is under the impression that her son wrote exactly what he was suppose to. I will give her the three handouts (with the dates they were received) explaining the assignment. Hopefully, she will look at this and realize that her son did not do the assignment(I mean that she didn't do the assignment-she wrote the paper) If she will not accept the responsibility of the assignment, I am under strict orders to allow her son to rewrite the assignment. (This is against my principles, and the front office knows this) They want me to grade the paper, not the original teacher. Of course, I will have her input on this paper if it comes to this.

So, what am I suppose to PM Jodie about exactly?

I looooooooove pasta, so you will get an honest answer out of me. If it is horrible, I will just eat regular pasta but cut down on how much. You can only give up so much for life to still be fair.

Bonnie, I should have an idea if Allison is coming with me within the next few weeks. Steve should be finding out about a new project and its longevity then. But if I had to bet, I would say that there is a big chance that I will have her. Can't leave her home by herself if the boys are working. I may let her bring a friend like you did at the Columbus Zoo meet. Don't need a moody petite teen Ya Ya for a weekend.

I didn't know there was a Columbus meet this weekend. I am so out of touch. What is the scoop?

Oh my gosh GP!!! Who IS that...um...er...person??? I gotta admit Apolo is spooky but THAT...person....*****shudder****!!!!

I will ask if there is a dvd player...if not I have a portable one that's kinda light...will it make it thru airport security or am I setting myself up for a problem? ANy other questions ya'll want me to ask when I call?

I am hittin the Disney store tomorrow too and will look for the Pooh sweatshirt but they didn't have it the other day. Do all Hallmark stores carry Ital. charms??

Bonnie about the groceries...there is a Kroger in the town where the lodge is so any groceries we need I guess we can get groceries when we get there. Don't anybody make flight arrangements until I check on a check-in time!

Sherry and Marilyn....good luck on your "diets". I am the biggest pasta lover there is and after a couple of weeks I didn't miss it! You don't have to cut it out completely....just cut wayyy back and decrease portions. Listen to me! I sound like I know what I'm talking about!!! LOL! Pm me if I can help.

I am a former competitive swimmer, and grew up in the pool. Give me a swimmers bod any day!!!! Tall, lean, muscular, :swoon:

Can you imagine the NOISE??? I thought the words "private" and "on five acres of land" were pretty important for this crew!!!
