Hi there YaYas! Been making it to work, still feeling kinda poorly, but ok to go in. Watched the new AI last night finished it off in bed. Started in on Prez's State of U address. Fell asleep...couldn't hang in.

We make our chili with ground turkey, V-8 juice and of course the beans. Toss in a small handful of elbow mac at the very end. We all like it this way.

So sad to hear about a young loss. Will be giving DS's another "lecture" today.

Glad to hear kitty is going to be ok.

Hope Jar feels better and that you don't get it too.

Hi there Lily!!! Glad you feel good enough to go into work, but hope you feel 100% better soon. That chili actually sounds good... well I don't like beans in mine (and yes, real chili does *not* need beans) but the elbow mac is a great idea to toss in!

I admit, as soon as the State of the Union Address came on, I flipped the TV off and listend to music instead. No offense, I have done it with *every* Pres. I just can't stand the constant clapping and blowing smoke out you know where to make all "happy" I rather read the speach later and take what I want of it.

Hi all!!

Glad the DL plans are coming together. I will be recovering and spending all my time with a baby attached to my body!!!

I had my 16 week ob check up today. My blood pressure was up but my weight was down. I lost one pound (I think because I have been sick for close to 3 weeks! Imagine that!) and my blood pressure was high because I have been on sudafed for almost 3 weeks. So hopefuly I will feel better and the bp will come down some. He said it is nothing to worry about.

I have my ultrasound scheduled for Monday, Feb. 16. That is president's day so I won't miss any school.

Kids are back from lunch....they expect me to teach them! Oh geez!!

So is there anymore room in anybody's suitcase. I would love to go to the yaya DL meet!! My cousin lives in San Fran and I do owe him a visit.....pretty close to DL reletively speaking. So hmmm, I will have to see what can be done about that.

I am also taking my big suitcase to Florida!! Pam, here is the deal.....you can have my seat.....but you MUST be able to gently pick up the suitcase with me in it.....you don't have a chance on that one!!!! But you could sure try!!!

Afternoon, all!

Neil had a great dr's appt. She upped the meds for the OCD, which we felt was neccessary...his other meds are staying the same for now. Then, off to get him a haircut (when he has his glasses on, he's just like Harry Potter, lots of unruly hair and all...big blue eyes, though). Then, we had a nice Cracker Barrel brunch and headed to Target to drop off the scrips and get me a bulb syringe to try to flush out whatever is clogging my ear. He finagled a toy and I treated myself to some dark chocolate Milano cookies! Now, surfing briefly before tackling more cleaning.

Thanks for the offer to join the trip. I think I'll be getting quite a few solo trips before then, though. I'm headed to WDW in 3 weeks (20 days, woohoo) and hubby wants me to go once a month until I secure a job. I talked with my rep at casting and she told me if I am offered a salaried job, to TAKE IT when it is offered! So, now I will be hitting the southwest site and booking 2 day trips once a month. The bright spot is that I can use one day to possibly interview and go talk to realtors in Clermont and use the other day to enjoy the parks. After the two solo trips last year, I've learned that I can get a lot done in two parks in one day. Perhaps, if there's a celebration Ya Ya trip to Disneyland during it's 50th anniversary in '05 I will be able to go. Never been further west of the Mississippi than N'awlins. If I still have my access, some people could go through the gate with me, !!!

Nutty bars are the snack of choice around here...they pack well in lunches and they don't have dye in them. I'd love it if Dairy Queen made a Nutty Bar Blizzard. Hey, I have a blender now, I'm gonna make those....ICE CREAM RUN!!!!!
