I'm going to take the family to Chick-Fil-A and then run into Wal-Mart to purchase products in the "No-man's land" section of the store while my family waits in the Mini-Van.

Alan - be a love and grab me a box of Tampax while you're there - wait - that is "No-man's land", right??

Deena - I have to ketchup but , dear.

Beth - frozen locks and doors are the pits, aren't they? DD has to put garbage bags in her Lumina's doors so they won't freeze - someone on the DIS with a Lumina shared that tip with me last year - it works!! Snuggle time in Virginia???

Karen - so happy to see you!! Did a pile of praying for you, girlfriend! How are you feeling now? I bet the boys are glad you are home! So - we need highlights of the WDW trip and if you had any hot doctors......

Pam Im doing better. Im very swollen from the prednisone Im on but I did get out and about today and I will start back to work on Monday. Im praying some of the swelling will go down by then because right now I look about seven months pregnant from the distention. Disney honestly is very much a blurr. We spent a lot of time in the room at the resort. We did go out on Christmas Day to MGM which was a BIG mistake on my part and we went to Epcot the next day another big mistake on my part. We should have just come home. By Friday we had to call a doctor into the resort to treat me at 1:30 am and by Saturday at 8:00 PM we were back in our city and I was in the ER. I was in CCU for a week and then moved to IMCU for the rest of the time. Ive been home since Wednesday and doing a little better every day. Today was the first I really got out of the house though. It felt good. Hopefully now that Im moving around more the distention will lessen.....I can only hope LOL. And DRAT no cute doctors. They were all doctors I have known for years because I work in the medical field. I couldnt even get to drool over a cutie pie or anything!

Hi YaYas! WB Karen, I don't think ya know me. (Stealer of loose cabana boys.) Did ya bring your cabana boy with you? Glad you are getting well enough to enjoy our spa. Sounds like you had a time.

It's going to be our coldest day/night of the winter season so far and you hot YaYas can have it. This is a bit too cold now.

Going to gals breakfast in a.m. Friend is having gastric bypass surgery on the 19th--(wish I could talk her out of it.) So I'll be supportive tomorrow.

Having friends over tomorrow for flat bread pizzas and an as yet undecided movie. Will be tidying up and making cheesecake brownies to serve for dessert.

Just a long day, and I was more drained than I thought I would have been... found out several friends were let go

Morning, everyone. Gotta get ready for work in a few, but I figured I would ketchup. I have some inventory prep tonight after I'm done with the managing part, so I may not get back on here. Then, when I get home I have to make crabcake bites for my store holiday party that we're having tomorrow night!

Beth, glad you enjoyed the snow. A good friend does traffic for Metro/NBC 4 and I called him last night to see how horrible his day was. He was NOT a happy camper. I offered that he could drive up to my place and share some Mudslides with me and Ed, but no dice!
I came out to a 'dandruff covered' car and couldn't understand why Loudoun had a two hour delay!

I thought the same thing about Virginia and snow, until I was STUCK on top of a mountain after my dad's car doors froze shut and we got 6 inches of snow! When I moved down this way, I had hoped that was an abberation. I was wrong!

Anyone see Love, Actually? It's playing at the cheapie movie theatre and I was thinking of going on Monday night.

Pam, you're in PA, I'm sure you know a lot about ice planet Hoth! Are you close to Knoebel's, Kennywood or Hershey? We're hitting all of those places before we move south!
