and it is soooooo pretty!! we are supposed to get 6-8 ". i am very excited about this, but very glad i don't have to go out in it!!!! i am going to miss snow blowing though. i love to snow blow. i think my neighbors will miss me too...greg already said he is only gonna do our driveway!!!! oh well, can't wait to see what it looks like here in about an hour or two!!! it is already starting to get very pretty. may have to have greg go and build a snowman right outside my window

Todd, did you get some answers about the local channels? In our case, we had to subscribe through Dish in order to get the locals. They didn't come in well on their own. We pay an additional fee (small) in order to get the locals. They come in on the satellite channels but are on the local schedule as before. I imagine what you need to do, may be different for everyone depending on your location and reception though. Good luck!

Ah... the alcohol for a cough/sore throat etc... I've tried that before too. Many times. LOL! Never really works, but after a few swallows, I don't really care anymore.

LOL at Pam and Kimmar with their pooper scoopers. Beagles are very sly...and they do take a bit to poop..so probably why he did it inside. Mine also hated the telephone..he would do bad stuff on purpose if we were on the phone. He was an attention hog.
Todd good luck on figuring out that Direct TV stuff. We have cable so I have no idea how that stuff works.

Todd, like Kimmie said, it is a small fee for local channels with Directv. Only around $10 or less. Or, you could just turn off the satellite and watch your local channels on regular TV.

Nancy......If he wants to propose over dinner I think he should do it with a special bottle of wine and in front of the fireplace if they have one. Derek proposed in a flower garden up in Hershey...will always remember that. Other friends husbands proposed on the beach, top of the Eiffel(sp?) Tower, in a restaurant, during a hockey game(jumbo screen), etc. Ask him if they have a favorite restaurant...and if he can coordinate the proposal with the manager on duty. That would be really romantic...it's very cheesy but I LOVE that idea. Hmm....what else can I think of.....do they love Disney as much as we do?? He could attach the ring to a Mickey doll or her favorite Disney character.

I'll keep thinking and check back in later. Must finish the cd collection reorg...taking much longer than I anticipated.
